The Rain of Seeds

In a dream vision, I saw a large cloud shaped like a disk, its color dark and saturated with what I assumed was precipitation. Imagine a giant gray-green pancake floating in the air. I was driving under this strange cloud and suddenly objects that resembled green seed pods fell like hail on the ground and on top of my car. When I awoke from the dream vision, I asked the Holy Spirit, “What was that all about?” “Cloud seeding!” He said with a chuckle. “The powers that be are seeding the clouds to control the weather for their aims.”
I received this dream vision a few days after Hurricane Helene hit my home state of North Carolina especially hard. The flood and debris of Chimney Rock/Lake Lure came within 300 feet of my house, but my house is situated at an elevation halfway between a hollow and the ridges on each side. Eight trees up the ridge behind my house came down, some of them 80-footers, but God protected my house and my car. Not a single rabbit or chicken died. My power is finally restored, but my water is unsafe to drink because of the sewage, propane, and cadaver bacteria in the lake which feeds the town’s water system.
One of the greatest gifts I received in the hard days when there was only one working road out (and no power, no cell service, no food, no water, no gas in my town) was a water filter from a Christian nonprofit called Filter of Hope. Missionaries arrived in the parking lot of our one local supermarket—which was shut down, giving us no access to food and water of any kind. The missionaries demonstrated how to use these filters, prayed with us, and then handed us each a modified bucket with a hose and filter attached. The filter can process 250 gallons per day, is easily cleaned, and lasts five years. If ever the bottled water runs out, I can harvest safe and potable water from the creek that runs through my land. All Praise be to God!
Though man misuses technology to control the weather in order to grab land, impoverish, and terrorize the people, it is ultimately God who is in control. Only a few days ago, a 104-year-old woman was found who survived the hurricane and its aftermath, feeding herself from whatever she could find in a creek. She experienced the water of life. Yet a much younger woman, who was warned by firefighters to evacuate and chose to stay, drowned in her bed as her house collapsed into raging river water flooding up to 40 feet high. She experienced the water of death. We do not know how much time we have left and when God will call us home. Therefore, repent and get in right relationship with your Creator and His son Jesus. Amen.
Scripture:
Luke 17:26-36 NIV
“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.”
John 7:37-39 NIV
37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
John 4:14 NIV
14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
