There is no path, no route to the Father other than through Jesus. Jesus is the truth, the way, the life. Without him, there is no salvation, no way home. Those who follow in his path, in his footsteps, are secure in their walk upon this Earth. They follow the Shepherd to safety in troubled times. They know who they can trust and follow. For danger lurks, when out of sight of the Shepherd. The Shephard prepares a place for them, where they are fed and watered. They trust in him and fear not for their safety.
