Money is the root of all evil…. No, it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil.  Those who spend countless hours accumulating wealth for wealth’s sake, have lost the true meaning of life.  Life’s meaning is based around loving God (Jesus) and your neighbor.  Money is just a means of becoming comfortable.

Many love money and will do anything to obtain it.  They will lie, steal and even kill to have more.  No sense of right or wrong is part of the equation, while seeking their goals.

Anything you love more than me (I Am), is a hinderance to salvation.  For it takes your time, effort and focus which takes away that which is important.  It is the LOVE of money that is the problem, not the actual money.  Whether it be television, gaming, sports or anything that usurps most of your time, one needs to look at focusing more on God and those around you to get closer to salvation.

Wealth by itself, is a shallow pit of accumulation, that serves no one but self.  Utilize what you have for others, to free yourself of the chains that bind you.
