The House Selling for Half its Value

In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit took me into the near future to a home in the suburbs that was for sale by the owner. The family was experiencing financial hardship, as the man of the house had lost his job and he was supporting a stay-at-home wife and three children. I was not a buyer, but his gracious wife was showing me around her large and lovely home, hoping that I would spread the word and help her find a buyer.
What I saw was a house that would normally sell for at least 450K or higher. Even the children’s playroom was expansive and had a vaulted ceiling. The home was in a good and safe neighborhood and had a garden big enough for animals and gardening. One feature that I noticed about the house is that each room had a fireplace or stove that would help to heat it. This was quite unusual for a newer house these days. I realized how beneficial this feature could be in an off-grid or no-gas situation. The house was spacious enough to accommodate even twenty people in an emergency. Even though I didn’t have the funds to buy the house, I wondered how much the house was selling for, so I asked the woman owner. She hesitated and then almost apologetically said, “230K?” with an inflection as if she was asking a question. I was stunned to hear this low figure.
The Holy Spirit warns us to prepare for a time when because of the poor economy, war, and tightening or lack of credit, home values will plummet. Desperate people will be willing to sell their homes for half of their value or even less. For those who have prepared adequately in ways advised by God, listening to His voice, opportunities will arise to purchase appropriate homes and property for the difficult times ahead. Thank you, Lord God, for your wise provision! Amen.
