The Bible Comes Knocking

In a flash dream vision, the Holy Spirit placed me in a stopped and idling car. Outside, the light was dim like twilight. Suddenly, I heard a rapping on the passenger side window. Startled, I looked to my right. A hand was gently striking a gray fabric-encased rectangular object against the outside of the window. It had a zipper around the edge, and a small black cross on the front. I recognized it as a simple Bible cover. A Bible was knocking on the window.
When I awoke, the Holy Spirit made it clear that I, and many others, must cling more to the Word. That the Word is life, sustenance, fortification, and solace. We also must collect more physical Bibles and not just depend on finding scripture on our smartphones and computers. In the times ahead, as we go forward into the dim light, more than ever, we will need the Light of the Word to shine and light our way.
Scripture:
Psalm 119:105 (AMPC)
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Amos 8:9-12 (AMPC)
9 And in that day, says the Lord God, I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the broad daylight.
10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning and all your songs into lamentation, and I will cause sackcloth to be put upon all loins and baldness [for mourning] shall come on every head; and I will make that time as the mourning for an only son, and the end of it as a bitter day.
11 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but [a famine] for hearing the words of the Lord.
12 And [the people] shall wander from sea to sea and from the north even to the east; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord [inquiring for and requiring it as one requires food], but shall not find it.
John 1:1-5 (AMPC)
1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
2 He was present originally with God.
3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
5 And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].
