“The Battle of the Ages Is Upon You!”

It was during the first week of August, 2025, when the Lord began to say,
“Time is of the essence; The Battle of the Ages is upon you.”
For the first couple of weeks, I did not grasp the full impact of what He was saying. We know the battle between good and evil, between God’s people and the devil’s followers, will build during the tribulation, culminating at the battle of Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ. But soon the Lord began to show the fullness of what was being said.
The battle involving man from the timeframe of Genesis 1:26, began long ago in the Garden of Eden. God clearly told Adam and Eve they would die if they ate of the forbidden fruit. The serpent beguiled Eve with the first recorded lie spoken to mankind when he said, “You shall not surely die.” (see ‘The Second Death’) In essence the serpent called God a liar. Sadly, man chose to believe the lie of the serpent above the very Word of their Creator.
After they rejected Truth, God drove Adam and Eve from the Garden, and put Cherubim with flaming swords to guard the entrance, lest they take also of the tree of life and live forever (Genesis 3:22-24). So the way to the Garden was closed off and blocked.
Then came the birth of Cain, who was of that wicked one, as stated in 1 John 3:12 (see ‘Genesis of Cain’). God told the serpent He would put enmity between the serpent and the woman, and between the serpent’s seed and her seed (Genesis 3:15). That enmity and battle between the two seed lines has raged since.
Before proceeding, it needs to be pointed out; The Garden of Eden was where God communed intimately with Adam and Eve until their fall. The Holy of Holies within the biblical Tabernacle in the Wilderness, and later Temple of God, was a representation of the Garden of Eden. This most holy place was separated within the temple by a thick curtain (to guard entrance), making it off limits to all but the High Priest, who was allowed entrance once a year on the Day of Atonement to offer the blood sacrifice on behalf of the people. This sacrifice pointed towards the coming Messiah, Jesus, who would offer His blood for the sins of the people. Upon Jesus’ sacrifice and death, that curtain was torn in two, reopening the way to the Holy of Holies – back to the Garden of Eden!
The Bible refers to Jesus as the last, or second, Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45). That would make Jesus’ espoused wife – His Bride – the second Eve!
The war has already been won by the death and shed blood of Jesus – the second Adam; but she (His bride – the second Eve) must now stand in His victory. The age in which we find ourselves is a time of battle, for the wicked still walk the earth. The millennial Kingdom of God is yet to come. Until that happens and the wicked forever removed, the job of the Bride is to stand in the victory of her bridegroom. What one might describe as a “do-over” of the Garden of Eden encounter for the Bride is now unfolding before us in these latter days.
The Word of God describes the days ahead as a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time (Daniel 12:1). Jude issued a call to battle. He exhorts the set-apart-ones, those called and in Jesus Christ, to fight and earnestly contend for the faith delivered to the Saints (Jude:1-4). Both scriptures point to the time period of the latter days.
The second Adam (Jesus) has fulfilled His assignment, making the way for the second Eve (Bride) to enter back in to the Garden. Just as Jesus rejected the lies of the devil during His 40 days in the wilderness, so must the Bride also reject his lies during her appointed season. This is Her “do-over.” And just as it was in the beginning, so again will the devil’s lie come against the Word of Truth!
“And Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. So, truth fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey...” (Isaiah 59:14)
Yes, the grace of our God has been turned into “anything goes,” as everyone does that which is right in his own eyes. Truth has indeed fallen in the streets, and whoever dares stand for God’s truth in any matter makes himself a target. And the woman will be the enemy’s main target!
The devil and his seed have been very busy since the Garden, weaving a deceptive web of lies over the entire world. These lies have heavily infiltrated the church. But at the time of the end, God prophesied there would be a restoring of TRUTH! The restoring of truth would be to those who have a love for it.
Daniel was told in chapter 12, the words would be closed and sealed until the time of the end, and the wicked would NOT UNDERSTAND, but the wise would understand! Why might that be?
Jesus said in Matthew 13:11 that it is given to His people to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given. The Greek word translated as mysteries is “mysterion,” which literally means “mysteries” or “formerly hidden truth.”
Having a passionate love for the TRUTH is critical in avoiding the deceptive lies of the devil and the grand delusion he has planned for this age. Our God has shown through His Word how not to fall for the deception.
When speaking of the coming “lawless one” (AC) in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, it says:
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Saints, are we hearing what the Lord is saying?
“Time is of the essence; The Battle of the Ages is upon you.”
God is going to send them strong delusion to believe the lie – because they did not love – or believe – the TRUTH!
The battle we each will face, will be to stand upon the Truth. And the ONLY way to not be deceived into believing the coming lie is to Believe the TRUTH and have a LOVE for the TRUTH!
Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me.”
The devil is coming again to challenge Truth; to challenge the very WORD OF GOD! He is coming to call God a liar – again! The magnitude of the coming deception upon the earth will be like no time in history.
Jesus said He came to bear witness to the truth (John 18:37). Now it is Her turn to do so!
As was the first encounter in the Garden of Eden, so will it be again. The devil will present his lie meant to deceive the entire world – with his eye particularly on the woman. Ah but God! The outcome will NOT be as before…
The second Eve has a love for the truth, and will not fall for the serpent’s deception this time around. She will begin to speak truth out of her mouth, previously hidden wisdom, and all mysteries (Eph 3:10).
This time, she will be bold and courageous as she walks in the authority given Her by the Bridegroom; preaching the Word, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons. The devil will be overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
The end of this matter was prophesied from the beginning in Genesis 3:15, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He will crush your head and you will be gazing up at His heel.”
Yes, praise the Lord! The war has already been won by our Bridegroom! And the Bride will now stand in His victory!
He beckons His people, “Come to the Garden. The way to the Garden is open again, and entrance may be obtained through Jesus!”
