Dear brothers and sisters,
In the following Word I will be presenting to you a study that the Holy Spirit has led me to do recently concerning the Antichrist – the man of lawlessness. For the main Scripture reference I am going to review the first portion of Rev.13, verse-by-verse.
Before I begin, I will share a vision Yah gave me while praying over this Word.
In the vision, I saw a daddy who was holding on to his small child’s hand. They were happy together; laughing and strolling along. When suddenly, a hand appeared in the vision. It held candies and it enticed the child. The child first glanced at the treat, then smiled. It was obvious that the child would then leave the daddy’s hand to follow the stranger’s hand and retrieve the goodies.
This is the understanding I was given concerning this vision.
Many start off their walk with our Heavenly Father with a great, intimate relationship with Him. Until Satan’s temptations come to lure them and take them away from Father, one day at a time. He is cunning, clever and very astute at taking our eyes off our calling. The more one gives in to his temptations, the harder it becomes to return to the old ways when Father had the full attention and hearts. Unfortunately, one cannot have it two ways. One must choose whom he shall follow. And if you choose wrong, if you lose your first love for Yah and give it to the enemy, it’s over. Such is the story of the Antichrist. If a sharp 180 degree turn is not made from going astray now, you will most likely not make it. The great distress will come upon you like a huge tsunami wave and will engulf you leaving you hopeless, scared and without your daddy’s hand of protection.
In the Old Testament, there are a number of stories where we see how Yah judged His people’s misconducts in a split second. For example, in the case of Aaron’s sons who offered strange fire before Him, and Uzzah who touched the Ark of the Covenant. On the other hand nowadays, although sin has reached an all time high, it may seem that Yah is being more long-suffering and taking more time to punish sin. The truth is that Yah is not slack in keeping His promises. Rather, He has been carefully watching the tares and the wheat grow together side by side in the fields and patiently awaiting the perfect time of their harvest. This event will begin first with the cutting down of the tares that will be collected into bundles and reserved for the fire. And later, with the gathering of the grain into His barns. Please see the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matt.13.
Because of the extreme level of wickedness, perversion and idolatry in our generation, Yah has reserved the WORST punishment for End Times, which will be dispensed through the 42-month reign of the Antichrist. Yah’s heart is still highly desirous that none should perish but that all would receive eternal life with Him. It is for this reason that He will allow this strong judgment in a last attempt to gather His final lost sheep onto His Narrow Path. At the same time, those who, either willingly or unwillingly, have chosen Satan as their Master will get some closure as to what eternity with him is going to look like. It is alarming that a large contingent of believers are convinced they are saved and heaven-ready, and are not. Or, believe that the Great Tribulation is for everybody else but themselves. These are dangerous lies to be holding on to as they leave you unaware and unprepared for the sort of disaster that is actually going to unfold.
Brothers and sisters,
Because of the magnitude of catastrophe that is inevitably upon us, I pray you will find this to be a sobering Word. One that will press you steadfastly towards true repentance and to seek a deeper intimacy with Father.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that those of my brethren who are still being held captive by the chains of lies and deception that they will be released; that their chains will break and fall off of them in Yahshua’s Name. I pray for hearts of stone to be transformed into hearts of flesh. I pray for the dead dry bones to hear your voice and inhale your breath that they may stand up to their feet in Yahshua’s Name. And finally, I pray for a greater hunger and thirst of your Word; that people everywhere would be compelled to dive in and be satiated by the fresh water of the Holy Spirit’s teachings. Precious Father, please release a spirit of humility so that your people everywhere will repent; that those who are seeking you to receive more understanding can be endowed with godly wisdom. Please open the eyes of our hearts to see your glory manifest and may your counsel be held as the treasure that it is. In Yahshua’s Name. AMEN!
Rev.13:1 “The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the SEA. It had TEN HORNS and seven HEADS, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a BLASPHEMOUS name.”
If we use the Bible to interpret itself, we can draw the biblical definitions of SEA and HORNS from the following verses.
Rev.17:15 Then the angel said to me, “The WATERS (or SEA) you saw, where the prostitute sits, ARE PEOPLES , MULTITUDES, nations and languages.
Rev.17:12 The TEN HORNS you saw are TEN KINGS who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast.
Dan.7:24a) The TEN HORNS are TEN KINGS who will come from this kingdom (4th kingdom).
Furthermore, the word “BLASPHEMOUS” means profane, against Yah, ungodly, unholy. This tells us that this beast is nowhere near aligned with Yah’s Spirit. Quite on the contrary, it is in direct opposition. Hence, the word “anti” Christ.
Rev.13:2a) The beast I saw resembled a LEOPARD, but had FEET LIKE those of A BEAR and A MOUTH LIKE that of A LION.
A LEOPARD:
When I investigated the characteristics of this animal, the main thing that stood out to me was how easily it can camouflage itself among its surroundings. In like fashion, the Antichrist is living among his peers, the sea of people, though he remains unnoticed as the man of perdition. And in reality, he will remain hidden, well into the establishment of his kingdom, until his traps are all laid out because he operates through lies, deception and subterfuge. The leopard, regardless of its quiet nature, is quite dangerous and ferocious. It can carefully and cleverly stalk its prey right up until the moment it is ready to pounce and overtake it with a bite to the throat or neck.
A BEAR:
Next, we are told that this beast out of the sea has feet like a bear – meaning with sharp, non-retractable claws. When he grabs a hold of its prey, it doesn’t let go. And because of its stature it often has strong, heavy, large feet as compared to other animals. That speaks of its ability to tear, crush, trample and overtake its victims with ease.
Dan.2:40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and SMASHES EVERYTHING—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so IT WILL CRUSH and BREAK all the others.
Dan.7:19 Then I wanted to know the meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and BRONZE CLAWS—the beast that CRUSHED and devoured its victims and TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT whatever was left.
A LION:
Finally, we are told that this beast has a mouth like a lion. That is, with sharp teeth to tear, grip and devour its victims.
Dan.7:23 The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will DEVOUR the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.
Rev.13:2b) The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
We know from Rev.12:9 that the dragon refers to Satan also known as the devil. He will give his power to the Antichrist who will operate under heavy demonic influence, lying schemes and manipulation.
2 Thess.2:9-10a) The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing.
Matt.24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Rev.13:13 And it (false prophet) performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people.
Please note that there is no sense in praying for the Antichrist to receive salvation. He’s already been judged by Yah and his end prophesied in the lake of fire along with the false prophet and, of course, Satan.
Now, another interesting piece we are given concerning the 10 kings is that they will arise prior to the Antichrist’s reign. In fact, we are told that once the Antichrist comes on the scene he will subdue three of them. These kings will linger for a short period of time as their purpose will be primarily to give their power and authority to the beast (Rev.17:13).
Dan.7:24b) After them (referring to the 10 kings) another king will arise (Antichrist), different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.
Dan.7:5 “And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had THREE RIBS in its mouth between its teeth. It was told, ‘Get up and eat your fill of flesh!’
Dan.7:8a), 20 While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one (the Antichrist), which came up among them; and THREE OF THE FIRST HORNS WERE UPROOTED BEFORE IT. 20 I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which THREE OF THEM FELL—the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully.
Rev.13:3 One of the heads of the beast SEEMED to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast.
Rev.13:14b) It (false prophet) ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.
Here, there are two things to notice. The first one, that the word “HEADS” in verse 3 seems to apply to a particular place or location, perhaps a headquarters. The second, in verse 14, we are told that the beast was wounded by the sword and yet lived. Thus, giving the impression that the Antichrist is the one who gets the “fatal” wound. When I asked the Holy Spirit to clarify if the word “head” referred to a place or to the beast, He said that it has a double meaning such as we read in Rev.17:9-10 that the SEVEN HEADS are SEVEN HILLS on which the woman sits. They are also SEVEN KINGS.
Also, please note the word “SEEMED” in verse 3, which implies that the fatal wound will be a deception. In other words, it will appear that the Antichrist is on his last breath from which he cannot recover from. Only so he will have the perfect pretense to activate the mark of the beast and pretend he has obtained healing from it. In so doing, he will entice the people of earth to take it. Please know that such “healing” will be greatly advertised as a miraculous occurrence, as if the beast is now immortal, invincible. The Holy Spirit said that the mark will be a much more advanced technology than the original nanotechnology. And that it will derive straight from the fallen ones.
Furthermore, in a previous word entitled, THE THIRD TEMPLE, the Holy Spirit said that the mark of the beast will involve transhumanism – the mixing of clay and iron as prophesied in Dan.2.
As you can imagine, after such wonderous display, the people of the earth will be in such awe of this counterfeit miracle that their hearts will be exceedingly desirous to accept the same abomination in their bodies so they too can be healed of their ailments. This will be a time of GREAT TESTING. Furthermore, those who live by bread alone and not by every word that proceeds from the mouth of Yah, will not see any option about receiving the mark because, at that time, buying and selling will be forbidden without it. Hence, they will admire and follow after the beast. This will be the abomination that causes desolation that is mentioned in Matt.24:15 and in Dan.11:31.
2 Thess.2:4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in GOD’S TEMPLE, proclaiming himself to be God.
It is vital that you understand that the Antichrist’s most important mission will focus at setting himself up in our temples (which are our bodies, the temples of the Holy Spirit as in 1 Cor.6:19). For his objective is to defile us so that we can no longer reflect the image of our Creator nor be recognized by Him as His creation. (Please see, THE THIRD TEMPLE prophecy, for greater understanding on this matter.) The Antichrist will also aim at stealing our worship of Elohim who is supposed to be our first love. You see, Yah created mankind in His image and has always desired an intimate relationship with each of us. As we put Him first in our lives and obey His commandments, He takes great care of us. But for millennia, Satan has been chipping away at our desire for our Father by placing so many idols before us to keep us distracted, entertained and to slowly remove our worship of Yah. Now, by the time the Antichrist comes on the scene, Satan’s plan will switch full gear as he goes for the kill which is the worship of himself and complete dethronement of Yah. Therefore, anyone caught worshipping the beast or his image, or taking his mark in their body, will be immediately cut off with no further chance of repentance nor being saved.
Rev.14:9-11 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: ‘If anyone WORSHIPS THE BEAST and ITS IMAGE and RECEIVES ITS MARK ON THEIR FOREHEAD OR ON THEIR HAND, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.’
Let’s break this down:
The WORSHIP OF THE BEAST implies putting the beast first in your life, above Elohim. The WORSHIP OF THE BEAST’S IMAGE means that one will look at imitating him and his ways. And RECEIVING THE MARK OF THE BEAST ON ONE’S FOREHEAD OR HAND represents defiance to Yah’s Law.
Deut.6:5-6, 8 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
The point of tying Yah’s laws on our hands and foreheads symbolically means that we must keep them on our forefronts so we don’t forget them. By Satan forcing people to mark themselves with his mark on these places it will be a direct affront to Yah, open blasphemy.
Warning: for those of us who will steer clear of all the enemy’s traps, please know that some of our own family members, even those who say are saved, will attack us saying that we are heartless, unloving, haters of life for not agreeing with them to take this abomination into our bodies. They will regard the mark of the beast as a great medical and techonological advancement and an act of love from the Antichrist to extend life and vitality to many. They WILL believe the lie because they did not love the truth.
2 Thess.2:10b)-12 They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
The Holy Spirit reminded me that in a recent prophecy entitled, Faith Like Pure Gold, Yah impressed on me that, many will reach the point of death without ever being healed of their infirmities. While others will be forced to helplessly watch their loved ones’ lives ebb away before their eyes, unable to offer any sort of comfort or relief besides prayer.
This will be a very harsh test to endure, especially for those who will find themselves, or their loved ones, suffering from severe illnesses and are used to leaning on pharmakeia. For they will feel very tempted to give in especially when the false prophet will force people to worship the beast or face beheading. It’s easy for people to say they will never fall for it. But the way it will be packaged, advertised and sold it will turn many souls away from Yahshua to follow this abomination. And of course, there will also be multitudes happy to take it and even those who will claim it is not the mark. What will start as the way of the future will eventually turn into people’s worst nightmares to the point where they will desire death only for death to escape them. Thus, this final test will either further refine people and strengthen one’s faith or eternally destroy them.
Matt.16:25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.
Rev.9:6 During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.
Rev.13:4, 8 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?” 8All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.
All people whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will flock to the Antichrist and willingly worship him. Many hearts will turn cold and reject the faith. People will think that since the Antichrist is so amazing and cannot be defeated, who will be able to wage war against him and win? The answer is that no human being can. For the Bible tells us Yahshua will destroy him.
2 Thess.2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
Now, if all the inhabitants of the earth, except for Yah’s remnant, will bow to the beast, expect intense persecution. Brother will hate brother, and children their parents. Calls will be made to demand loved ones be put to death. May Yah prepare our hearts to endure through this unthinkable horror and intense persecution.
Rev.13:5-6 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.
Dan.7:8b), 11, 25 This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully. 11a) Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. 25a) He will speak against the Most High.
Dan.11:36 The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods.
Rev.13:7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.
When you see the mark of the beast implemented, know that the time of the Great Distress has begun. See Matt.24:15 and 21.
Again, intense persecution where you will not be able to trust anyone. Stay close to the Holy Spirit and only follow His leadership. Learn now how to deepen your roots in Him. Perhaps He will shelter you during this time of calamity.
Dan.7:21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them.
Dan.8:24-25 He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people. 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.
Rev.13:9-10 Whoever has ears, let them hear. 10 “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.
Matt.24:13 He who endures until the end, the same shall be saved.
Rev.14:12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.
Please note that there is NO pre-tribulation rapture. These judgments have been designed to purge Yahshua’s people. For it is through much tribulation that we will enter into Yah’s kingdom.
And finally,
Dan.7:18 But the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever.
Dan.7:27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.
Dan.7:22 until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.
Dan.2:44 In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.
Matt.24:30-31 Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
THE COVENANT
Do you understand the covenant which the Antichrist will look at violating? It is Yah’s covenant, His Laws, the Torah. Please see Deut.5 where it explains how Yah originally made a covenant with His people Israel, and gave them His Laws and commands to be obeyed.
Then when Yah renewed His covenant with His people, which is all of us who have chosen to live as set apart for Him, He said:
Jer.31:33 This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
In Dan.11:30 it says, Ships of the western coastlands will oppose him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
The Antichrist – aka the man of lawlessness, will focus on ensuring that Yah’s laws are removed, ignored, cut off starting with the very first commandment not to have any other gods besides Yah and ending with the rest of them.
Do you know the biblical definition of lawlessness?
1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
In other words, lawlessness is defined as the breaking of Yah’s Laws.
Do you see now why we still have to uphold Yah’s Laws? Yah’s Laws were not implemented to be burdensome but to be a safeguard, a boundary, a protection, a wall of fire around us. Our loving Father did that to keep us aligned with His will and desire for us so that we would not perish. But I have to say that the vast majority of Christianity has invented this lie where we no longer have to abide by Yah’s Laws, that Yahshua nailed them to the cross. There is a huge discrepancy between what Yah said to do and what people now do in the name of grace. Please reconsider.
Yahshua never came to do away with the Law, rather to fulfill it. Meaning, to live it out perfectly as an example for us. And so, in light of all this and in light of what the Antichrist will rise up to do, where do you think you should be standing?
If still in doubt, ask yourself why will Satan go after the offspring of the woman in Rev.12 – those who KEEP YAH’S COMMANDS?
Rev.22:14 BLESSED ARE THEY THAT DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, THAT THEY MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE, AND MAY ENTER IN THROUGH THE GATES INTO THE CITY.
