I woke up around 2:30am to some strange sounds outside. Looking out of my open window, I saw a donkey and a white horse together, calmly grazing the little vegetation under my window, next to the driveway. (I do live in a semi-rural neighborhood.) My initial reaction was to greet warmly the animals, then later, I realized this was a sign from above. The first and second coming of Jesus.
[John 12:14-15 NKJV] Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: “Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”
[Rev 19:11 NKJV] Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
Fall 2024
When trying to sell a car, we were initially spared from an online scam buyer. The second inquiry not only was legitimate, but made a comment for liking our [faith-based] radio stations.
Soon after this, a piece of property that was shared with a relative, was finally sold. The amazing thing was the location was in a different state than where we all lived and attempts to sell it had been going on for about twenty years!
[Rom 8:28 NKJV] And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose.
Summer 2025
Our heater went out in the late spring so we arranged for a new installation during the summer. On July 28th, the new furnace was installed. Two days later, we had a horrendous storm. I shared with my coworkers that I may lose power. I did not, but the new furnace was leaking. I took pictures of the water pooling on the floor in the basement. We called the company who came out two days later and checked everything and added some calking. We waited for the inspectors, but they didn’t come, so I called to follow up. Almost 3 weeks after the first storm on August 19th, another storm came just as bad. Peering out the window, our dirt road became one flowing river – the day the inspector was to come. The man was delayed by the storm, but did eventually arrive. He looked around and was specifically looking for leaks! Praise God, not one drip or moisture was found! Those two days were the only days we had severe weather for the whole summer. So, lesson learned, sometimes storms come as a good thing.
[James 1:2-4 NKJV] My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have [its] perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
