Request for support for Borehole drilling project

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We humbly write to request your kind support toward the drilling of a borehole for the Hope for Orphans Centre in Kisii, Kenya. This project has become necessary due to the urgent need for clean, safe, and dependable water for our orphanage, congregation, and the surrounding community.

Water is a basic necessity of life, and the lack of a reliable water source has created serious challenges in sanitation, health, and daily living. We believe that the successful completion of this borehole project will bring relief, improve living conditions, and serve as a lasting blessing to many families.

As an orphanage, church, and community committed to serving people both spiritually and practically, we see this project as an opportunity to extend care, compassion, and hope to those in need. However, due to limited resources, we are unable to accomplish this project alone. It is on this basis that we humbly appeal for your generosity and partnership.

Your financial support or material contribution toward this borehole project will make a meaningful difference and leave a lasting impact on the lives of many. We have been experiencing cases of typhoid fever, cholera, leptospirosis (caused by contaminated water), and other diseases. During the dry season, conditions worsen, as we must walk approximately 2 kilometers to fetch clean water. At times, this exposes girls in the community to the risk of assault and molestation.

Additionally, during heavy rains, our toilets and latrines overflow, contaminating downstream water sources and increasing the spread of disease. Please find attached pictures for your reference.
