There was a time when I found myself wasting countless hours watching YouTube, losing all track of time. It was then that God powerfully gave me a word of inspiration.

He said that worldly social media platforms like YouTube can become “electronic narcotics.” This means that staying on them for too long can seize control of your mind, essentially hijacking your consciousness. These electronic narcotics prevent us from doing what we truly ought to do, and like a person intoxicated by drugs, they can cause our faith to become dormant.

Therefore, limit social media platforms like YouTube to a minimum, and do not linger there for extended periods.

I urge you to resist the worldly spirit that governs YouTube and other social media—the “spirit that confuses the mind”—in the name of Jesus Christ.
