Beloved Brothers and Sisters, as I was in Afternoon Prayer today, I was praying to the Lord for the Preparation of the Church, and suddenly this thought came to me:
“The Rapture is a Day of Surprises.”
I discerned it in a sense, like when you, for example, as a Parent, prepare a Birthday Party for your Son or Daughter. When the time comes, you perhaps put a blindfold on their eyes, and when you lead them to the place, the Child is all nervous and happy at the same time because they don’t know what awaits them, but in their Heart, they know it is something Great and Beautiful because they know their Parents (“For now we see in a glass, darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I also am known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12). We should be exactly waiting for that Day with that expectation that the Lord was preparing a beautiful dwelling place for something very Great.
Before the day of the party arrives, the Child sends invitations and tells his friends, “They’re throwing me a party.” He lets everyone know and the child wants to show off because he knows it’s something special, and the day before, there’s no other topic the child talks about except the party they’re throwing for him… INTERESTING, right?
The Word tells us:
“And he said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'”
Matthew 18:3
Questions for you:
How well do you know your Heavenly Father?
Do you know and believe in your heart that the Lord was going to prepare something beautiful for you?
Who are you telling about what Jesus Christ did here on Earth and what he went to do in Heaven?
Is there joy in your heart when you think that soon you will meet your Father, truly, with the one who loves your soul?
The moment/Day arrives, and the Child can no longer contain his joy, even waking up earlier than everyone else. In his thoughts, there is nothing but this event that will take place in a few hours.
As the Day progresses, he sees the Signs.
“When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
LUKE 21:28
He has everything ready because he is so curious at times that he is alone, hiding in a corner, and discovers only a little of what will happen at the party, and that increases his expectation in his Heart.
Questions to you:
How is your expectation? Are you waiting for it?
The moment arrives. The Parents tell him: “Wait in your room.” Obediently following the Parents’ instructions, he complies with the instructions. He bathes and prepares and waits in his room. The wait now seems eternal. He falls asleep for a moment with his favorite toy in his hand. Suddenly, the Parents enter!!! And he says to him (e.g., John , Clark , Rodrigo, Sandra, Rupita, Lupe), “Get up, come, it’s time.”
“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.'”
JOHN 14:23 ESV
And they take him to the place of the feast, giving him a great surprise, something that will never be taken away from him. The joy of the Child is indescribable; it was worth hearing and obeying what his parents told him; it was worth waiting for!!!
“But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
LUKE 10:42
“Now learn a parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, right at the doors.”
Matthew 24:32-33
MARANATHA COME LORD JESUS
