On February 22, 2025, during prayer around midnight, the Lord made me feel that there is a very violent attack against the elderly generation (ages 60, 70, 80, 90) of believers, men and women who know what it is to pray, fast, and seek the face of the Lord. The enemy has raised a Death Decree against this generation of elders (ages 60, 70, 80, 90). We must raise a cry as a people for them and ask the Lord to undo every decree and sentence against them; we need them for this crucial time just as Esther needed Mordecai for a crucial time for the people of God.
Just as the people of the Lord find themselves at this moment, we need that generation of men and women who encourage the young church, who provide direction and instruction. They are veterans, and they know what true revival is…
We must let them speak to the young ministers; we must allow them to give us direction as Mordecai did. Despite this, there is a very special promise for the elders in the Bible (“After this, I will pour out my Spirit on all humanity; your sons and daughters will prophesy; your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.” Joel 2:28 RVC).
People, rise up and pray for the (MORDECAI GENERATION); it is the moment. Haman prepared and rose up and is plotting, but he will fall into his own trap.
People, rise up and cry out; it is the moment. We need this generation, and we need to love and respect them as Esther did.
Let us cry out in the name of Christ Jesus.
“In that, the king said, ‘Who is in the courtyard?’ Haman had come to the outer courtyard of the royal house, intending to speak to the king to ask him to hang Mordecai on the gallows he had prepared.” Esther 6:4 RVC
