Beloved Brothers and Sisters, many of us are weary and discouraged by trials, attacks, and criticism. I felt compelled to remind you of these words that came to my heart as I made this Picture .

Let the Holy Spirit of God minister to your heart. He loves you and is neither absent nor indifferent to your trials and struggles. He is there to lift you up again, even though you have fallen. He is there to encourage you and reminds you of these words:

“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”

Proverbs 24:16

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our bodies.”

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (RVR1960)

“For this light momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (RVR1960)

“Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. Even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward morning, if he finds them awake, blessed are those servants. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?” The Lord replied, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager whom his master will entrust to his care, and whom his master will entrust to his care and to whom he will send his servants?” “Will he put a guard over his household, so that he may give them their portion of food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master finds doing so when he returns.”

LUKE 12:35-43

“Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

LUKE 21:36“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Titus 2:11-13

“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.”

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

John 14:18

May the SHALOM of God, which surpasses all understanding, be with you, your family, your congregation, and all brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

In the Lord’s love for the Bride of Christ
