Nightgowns Dream

I had this dream 2 years ago on 12/10/2022. In the dream I was trying on these warm and cozy nightgowns with some other women. These nightgowns had a lot of extra fabric at the bottom, which flowed and laid beautifully all around us. I commented that one of the women’s gowns looked like a WEDDING DRESS. My dress was plush red with big white polka dots– the kind a young child might wear near Christmas. Then, I woke up, singing a portion of “Away In A Manger”. This is the portion I sang as I was awaking:
“Be near me, LORD JESUS
I ask You to stay
Close by me forever
And love me, I pray
Bless all the dear children
In Thy tender care
And take us to Heaven
To live with Thee there.”
I hesitated to share this publicly when the LORD gave it to me almost 2 full years ago now, knowing the mistake we often make when interpreting prophetic dreams and such. If the LORD had given me this night vision many years ago, I would have made the mistake of presumption, and likely would have told anyone who would have listened that JESUS was coming back this Christmas, of that I was sure, because that’s what He “showed” me. You understand ? This is a common error the prophetic community falls into– the error of assumption. The dream or word may well be true and from the LORD…….but……we must hold our horses at the assumption gate on how exactly these things will be fulfilled. Pray for understanding, yes. Pray for interpretation, absolutely. But realize we often accidentally add our own thoughts and feelings to His messages, which can result in our embarrassment (or worse, our hardening of our stance and doubling down on our error) and the disappointment (or worse, the offense) of others, which can lead to them to despising prophecy because they have failed to try and test the prophecy according to THE WORD OF GOD. And what does the WORD OF GOD say concerning these things?
Habakkuk 2:3
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at THE END it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, WAIT FOR IT; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

“So shall MY word be that goeth forth out of MY mouth: it shall not return unto ME void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
