This dream started by transitioning from another dream. I do not remember that dream, but this part started with my mom, sister, and me in our living room. Even though our windows are taped for the 3 days of darkness, we knew it was night in the dream as we have a few slightly uncovered windows throughout the house. We were standing around the couch, talking about my sister’s new chicks she brought home from work, as two were sick, and one had an injured leg. She mentioned to my mom that she had put them outside. However, I was not paying attention to the reason. We suddenly felt an intense darkness come upon the house. “Is that the start of the three days of darkness?!” One of us exclaimed. “But we didn’t see the lights!” said another. Perplexed, we all ran to a small, uncovered window by our front door; however, to look out or cover it, I do not know. We realized the driveway lights could still be seen, so we cracked the front door and looked out.
There was a dark, almost pitch black, cloud in the southern sky moving towards the house; however, it was very far away and could not have caused the darkness above our house that we felt and saw. I pushed past my mom and sister and walked out onto the porch to find the cause of the darkness. I
looked up and saw a huge alien ship hovering above our house. It was reminiscent of the alien ship seen at the end of the anime ‘One Punch Man’ season one. However, this one was dark, metallic grey with a red hue. There were blinking lights on the bottom of the ship and windows lining the middle of the side of the ship. “Is that an alien ship?” My sister questioned, “Looks like it.” I said in a huff. “But we know they aren’t aliens; they are demons and fallen angels,” I reminded her. As we talked, we all started walking onto the driveway to get a better look. “I wish I had brought my phone so I could take a picture,” I thought. Suddenly, things started falling from the ship. We all jumped and ran back onto the porch, but not fully in the house, to see what it was. About 5 purple drones fell from the ship and started hovering in different places above our house. “Are those what I think they are?” I asked. “Yes, they are monitoring drones the government plans to use after the rapture to ensure the people of the earth follow curfew.” My mom replied. “What happens if they see a person?” My sister and I asked her. “I don’t know, and I don’t plan on staying to find out!” said my mom.
Then, I remembered my sister’s chicks were still outside. “Where did you put the girls?” I asked her, “What girls?” was her reply. “The chicks!” “Oh yeah, they are in your trunk.” “How could my car be considered ‘outside’?? Why would you put them in there?!” I almost snapped but caught myself and thought, “There’s no time for arguing.” I ran into the house, grabbed my car key, and ran to my trunk. My car is older, and I am able to unlock just the trunk with the key. I unlocked the trunk, carefully keeping the key from being locked in after I closed it, and grabbed the basket the chicks were in. This woke up the chicks, and their chirping alerted the drones. I froze in place as 3 drones lowered to the ground and transformed into what I would describe as robot dogs. They walked on two arched legs, reminiscent of prosthetic running legs. They all held guns as they paced about our driveway. I turned to my mom and sister on the porch, realizing they had already gone inside, and shut the door. “Just great…” I thought, but then I remembered God was watching, so I couldn’t be too upset.
I somehow knew that the robo-dogs had limited visibility. After watching the robo-dogs patrol for a while, I had a ‘now or never feeling’ and made a break for the house. After missing the door handle the first time, I finally made it inside, shutting and locking the door behind me. “They definitely saw me come in here,” I fretted. I then heard a pounding on the front door. “We need to hide!” I exclaimed, and we all ducked behind the couch simultaneously as the 3 robo-dogs busted through the door, breaking it off its hinges. We hid with bated breath as the three robo-dogs separated to search the house for us. One went upstairs, one went towards the bedrooms on the first floor, and the other one stayed in the living room. What felt like hours, when it was a few minutes, the robo-dogs gathered back in front of the door. “Should I check over there?” One of them asked with a robotic voice, pointing to the area where we were hiding. “No need. We will just report that we were unable to find them.” replied another, which seemed to hold a sense of superiority over the other ones. I breathed a sigh of relief; thankful they would not find us, while immediately holding my breath again so as not to get caught. The robo-dogs left the house, and we came from our hiding place, slowly walking to where the front door should have been to see if it was safe. We saw the 3 robo-dogs looking at the two drones in the sky; I knew they were filling them in on the report; however, they were not speaking, choosing to use their mechanical network connection to do so. They returned to their drone forms, and all 5 flew back up towards the ship. I woke up with the in dream thought: ‘I can’t believe they broke the door; they could’ve just opened it normally…’
