Message to Uganda and Tanzania

Sammy Omosh

Some time back—probably three weeks ago—the Lord told me He would send me to step on Ugandan soil and proclaim a prophetic prayer. It would not be a preaching assignment, but a silent prophetic decree that doesn’t raise any eyebrows.

Then, on the weekend of July 26th, 2025, I was sitting on a plastic chair overlooking Lake Victoria at a recreational place, simply meditating silently. A waiter came around lunchtime and asked if I would like to eat or drink something. I politely declined but told her that should I need anything, I would let her know.

Then I heard in the spirit:
“I am tired of this man having led for forty years! What makes you think this man is untouchable and has insulated himself with instruments of power? If God wants to topple or dethrone him, is it a big deal? He has many ways of ensuring this man doesn’t cling to power forever.”

Tanzania:
Many years ago, in an early morning vision, I saw many people fleeing the nation of Tanzania and crossing over to Kenya via the Namanga border. At that time, I wasn’t sure who those people were.

Around mid-June 2025, in yet another vision, I saw my cousin having returned from Dar es Salaam. His countenance did not show any sign of happiness—and then the vision ended. My cousin had been offered a job in Dar in 2023, having studied Agricultural Engineering. He is an expert at repairing and servicing farm tractors. I once visited him at his workplace over a weekend and watched him work on stalled tractors for a long time.

Tanzania is having elections in October 2025. People of Tanzania, pray for your nation to thwart the plans of the enemy.

When I shared this message with a relative, she told me to consider going to Tanzania. (I have previously gone to this nation twice.) I told her, “I have not been sent there—only instructed to share this message!” I have an upcoming assignment only to the nation of Uganda for now.

As I am finishing writing this, a young man in his twenties, seated next to me with his girlfriend, offers me liquor to drink. They are drinking alcohol at their table. I tell him, “I don’t drink alcohol. I am saved and I serve God.”

I share with him the message of the Cross. He tells me he is jobless and has come to Kisumu from Nairobi to stay with his aunt. But I was surprised by his comment, since they were drinking very expensive drinks at the lakeside resort.

We were watching the beautiful sunset by the shores of the second-largest freshwater lake in the world. I told him about my life when I was his age—I was preaching the gospel while living with my aunt after high school.

He tells me he admires my life and wishes he were like me. I tell him, “It’s not about me, but about Him—the Redeemer—who transforms lives permanently.”
He then tells me he doesn’t go to church, but he prays often. I told him many youths in this country need Jesus first in their lives—jobs are just bonuses the Redeemer can give.

He agreed to give me his contact.
We have to snatch others from the fire.
He tells me he has influence over many youth. Imagine—if he believes and gets saved, it will have a multiplier effect on others.

75 to 80% of the world’s population are youthful, and the majority are in darkness—they don’t know what it means to walk in the light of God.

This gentleman had a very pretty chic by his side, but she was so intoxicated that she couldn’t keep her head up. Her head was leaning on the table as we conversed.

Someone once said:
“If you can reach the young generation worldwide and they convert to Christ, your work is as good as done.”
I’m not letting go of this ‘Catch.’ The enemy doesn’t let go of people easily—so why should I, for the sake of the Kingdom?

And I wondered—how do these guys afford to drink expensive booze while jobless?
What will happen if they are employed and have regular income in their current state (minus salvation)?

Yah bless all of you wherever you are.
I hadn’t planned to come here—it was an abrupt visit, as I will reveal in another message I will share in a few days.

Amos 3:7
Surely the Lord God does nothing without revealing His secret plan (of the judgments to come) to His servants the prophets.
(Amplified Version)
