In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit took me to a town—I assumed it was in America, but it could have been Europe—in which ordinary civilians would experience deadly attacks by foreigners. In the vision, I did not see men protecting civilians. The men were elsewhere, perhaps fighting in a war far away, and the women left behind in the towns and cities had little to no protection.

Foreign men of all ages with ill intent entered the town in an improvised way, not like how a coordinated army would approach. These men did not wear uniforms, and they wielded simple knives, not standard modern weapons such as guns and rifles. They attacked defenseless Western-looking women in their homes, breaking through doors and windows. The men appeared to be Muslim and were conducting jihad activity. They looked at Western women, Christian or not, with complete disdain. The men had no shame about killing such women.

In the vision, I saw two white women, one a middle-aged blonde and the other one an older brunette, standing outside a house in a neighborhood. The men attackers approached the women with knives ready to strike. The brunette woman raced inside the house for protection, but the other blonde woman reacted too slowly and remained outside. The woman inside the house could not wait for the other woman to come in, and had to shut and lock the door, just as the attackers pushed against it. She felt remorse and hoped that the other woman’s suffering would be short. The woman left outside had been known to practice witchcraft, and her soul was in danger, not just her body.

When the attackers had finished with the blonde woman outside the house, they broke through a window to get to the other woman inside. This woman was a Christian, and called out to Jesus for protection as the men entered the house. She had no weapon but the Name of Jesus. She lifted her right arm, and the Holy Spirit told her to loudly command the men to be still in the name of Isa, the word that Muslims use for Jesus. She invoked the protection of Isa repeatedly.

For some unknown reason, the attackers did not advance toward the woman. Instead, the men kept looking to the right of her at something she could not see. Then the men lowered themselves and sat on the floor. They bowed their heads and started to say respectfully and repeatedly, “Isa the Merciful. Isa is compassionate.” To the woman’s complete surprise, the men put down their weapons.

Completely confused, having expected her impending death, the woman tried to understand what was going on. To her left, though she could not see Him, Jesus had appeared to the men and was talking to them. Suddenly, she realized that her right hand, still raised high above her head, was gripping the handle of a great whip, which had materialized out thin air.

Following the instructions of Jesus who they called Isa, the men awkwardly got to their feet, left the woman in peace, and departed the house.

Once the men were gone, the woman thanked Jesus for saving her life, even though she did not see Him with her physical eyes as the attackers had. She then raced out of the house to check on the other woman who just earlier had been attacked. This injured woman, stabbed in several places, was bleeding profusely, but miraculously still alive. The Holy Spirit guided the older woman to instruct the dying woman to repent of her witchcraft. With boldness, she commanded the dying woman, “Repent of your sins of witchcraft and call on Jesus to save your soul!” When the dying woman repented, suddenly her wounds stopped bleeding and the tissues regenerated, healthy and whole. Jesus the Merciful had saved the other woman’s life too!

Scripture:

Psalm 18 NIV

17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, who were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me.

47 He is the God who avenges me,
who subdues nations under me,
48 who saves me from my enemies.
You exalted me above my foes;
from a violent man you rescued me.
49 Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing the praises of your name.

Psalm 62 NIV

7 My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.

11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
“Power belongs to you, God,
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”

Psalm 91 NIV:14-16 NIV

14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Isaiah 65:1 NIV

1 “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’

Matthew 8:12-13 NIV

12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Romans 10:11-13 NIV

11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
