Mansions Sold for Pennies on the Dollar

In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit showed me just a little of what America faces ahead in the value of real estate, literally and figuratively.

In the vision, I saw a beautiful country estate with a mansion and other buildings for maintenance of the estate. The strangest thing was every time I looked at the buildings, a dark mist seemed to surround them. The mist obscured them and I could barely see the features such as the doors, windows, and even the roofs. It was as if a fire had blackened them, even though they still stood. They looked like they had long ago been well-maintained, but now were in decay, but not yet a ruinous heap. The structures needed so much repair and renovation, a developer would choose to raze them to the ground and build new homes.

Soon, a family of foreigners appeared on the scene, negotiating to purchase the estate for a fraction of its value, for pennies on the dollar. The head of the family was a rich man, tall and with a darker complexion and short but wavy hair. He looked like he was from India or perhaps the Middle East. He was from a place and class that was not suffering, a place where people owned gold and silver and whose currency was strong.

Scripture:

Proverbs 14:11: “The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.”

Amos 3:15: “I will strike the winter house along with the summer house, and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall come to an end,” declares the Lord.”

2 Kings 25:9: “He burned down the house of the LORD, the royal house, and all the houses of Jerusalem. He burned down every great house with fire.”

Haggai 1:4: “Is it a time for you yourselves to live in your paneled houses, while this [sacred] house lies in ruins?”

Mark 3:25: “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

2 Corinthians 5:1: “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
