Judas The Traitor

Earlier this year, around March 2025 the Lord began speaking to me about Judas Iscariot (the traitor).

From the outside Judas Iscariot looked like a disciple of Jesus….

Judas sat & ate at the table with Jesus

(Matthew 26:20)

Judas feet were washed by Jesus (John 13).

Judas was taught by Jesus (Matthew 24)

Judas even walked in power/miracles

(Matthew 10 & Luke 9).

What others didn’t see…

Judas was robbing from the money box

(John 12:6)

Judas acted like he cared for the poor

(John 12:5).

Judas didn’t believe (John 6:64) and was of the devil (John 6:70)

In the end Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss (a sign of brotherly love) for money.

(Matthew 26:49).

I believe Jesus gave Judas one last opportunity before he betrayed Him (Matthew 26:20-25).

The other disciples didn’t the know the true heart of Judas until later, but Jesus knew the whole time he was of the devil (John 6:70).

In John 13:2 says “the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him”

Psalms 119:11 “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

There are MANY Judas in the church, on the pulpits, social media & our government professing to be of the faith. But Jesus knows whos hearts are truly His.

Let us invite the Lord to search our hearts of any idols🙏
