Exodus 12:2
“This month shall be for you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year for you.”

We remember these words:
Book of Revelation 21:5
“And He who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also He said, Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

We know that in the month of Aviv the celebration of Passover took place. A people who for a long time had been under the yoke of slavery received freedom.

In Aviv, the month of spring, life rises again after winter. Colors return, and everything comes back to life. All of this speaks to us of the tremendous work of redemption accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives.

The month of Aviv must be the beginning of the year—the start of something new.
Aviv reminds us of the death and resurrection of Christ.
Aviv reminds us of our new life with Christ.
Aviv reminds us to be grateful for the change and for leaving a land of sin for freedom.
The new life of a person who believes in

The month of Aviv reminds us of the message of redemption. It reminds us that a door of hope was opened—a door to eternal life.
