I woke up trembling at His thunderous voice!!

The dream I will share I had on March 3, 2025. Before I went to bed I was praying & preparing scripture for a video I was going to make about my last church. The pastor & his wife would spent 15 minutes talking about 
money before picking up the offering. They would pressure, manipulate, twist scripture and guilt trip the congregation to sow & tithe to be obedient to the Lord. I always felt I didn’t give enough money to God (robbing Him/ Malachi 3:8). In short the Lord started giving me dreams (8 total) revealing to me what was in the pastor/wife’s heart (Acts 5:3 and 8:23). Their motive was all rooted in idolatry/covetness of money/riches and posessions. As well when we give offering we can also give with wrong motives, seeking the blessings over a rich relationship with God (Luke 12:21), treating God as a vending machine.
I believe that this dream correlates with the video I was preparing.
This is the dream:
I was outside looking up at some grey clouds in the sky and coming from those clouds was powerful rolling (continuous) thunder and a voice speaking to me from the thunder. The thunder was so loud & powerful that it woke me up trembling and my heart pounding. I don’t know how to describe it but for about a minute or so after I woke up I could still hear the thunder and His voice but I couldn’t make out what He was saying.I knew that this was God Almighty (Job 37:1-2) speaking to me, I’ve had dreams like this in the past.
As I layed in bed I asked the Lord what He said because I couldn’t remember and I eventually went back to sleep. He woke me up a few hours later @ 2:50am and said:
“TO OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE!!”
I knew immediately this verse was the story of King Saul in 1 Samuel 15:23. As you read the story you find that King Saul DIDN’T HAVE A HEART FOR GOD!
My brothers & sisters the Lord requires obedience from the heart FIRST over any sacrifice. It’s an error to think that God will accept our sacrifices (worship, money or time) and He will just look the other way as we live in disobedience & He doesn’t take pleasure in loveless irreverent sacrfices! These sacrifices would be in vain
To ignore His word or His direction is to “..despise His word..” (2 Samuel 12:9)
Despise = to hold in contempt, to disdain…meaning to feel & treat a person as worthless!!
Read ALL of Psalm 50 speaks of hypocrisy, outwardly doing all the “religious rituals” (church, worship, offering, serving, etc) but living in disobedience. God owns everything, He truly doesn’t need nothing from us but desires our whole hearts, faith & obedience.
** Psalm 50:12 “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness”
** Psalm 50:21-22 “These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you,
And set them in order before your eyes. Now consider this, you who forget God,
Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to
deliver”
** Isaiah 1:11 ( read whole chapter)
To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?” Says the Lord.
“I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams
And the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, Or of lambs or goats.
I made a YT short with the sound of thunder so you can get some feeling of what I heard but it doesn’t compare.
His voice is truly POWERFUL!!
Job 37:1-2
At the sound of His thunder, my heart pounds.
It is as if my heart will jump out of my chest.
Listen! Listen to the thunder of God’s voice. Listen to the rumbling that comes from His mouth.
Psalm 29:5
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
Yes, the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon in pieces.
