Dear brothers and sisters,

I imagine you must be coming off Part 1. If not, please go back and listen to the grave warning Yah has brought to our attention concerning eating abominable things. Do not ignore this warning. Yah is very serious about casting down wasting diseases as a curse for disobedience to His Laws. For details on this, feel free to go back to part 1 of this Word. As well, read over Deut.28 and Lev.26.

If you have not already committed to eating a “clean” diet, please return to Yah’s Ancient Path.

As I mentioned in Part 1, on the Sabbath of Dec.12-13/2025, Yah instructed me on particular Scriptures that He said have been twisted to tickle the ears of the listeners that refuse to stand on the sound counsel of His Word. He has sent me to break this down for you so that there will be no misunderstandings.

The first passage is found in Mark 7.

1 The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus 2 and saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. 3 (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders. 4 When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles.) 5 So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?” 6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ 8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” 20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

The question the Pharisees posed to Yahshua was why His disciples did not adhere to the tradition of the elders which was to wash their hands after returning from the market and before handling food. It was not whether they could be allowed to eat unclean foods. And yet, today’s churches are worse than the Pharisees of those days!

Now, because Yahshua made a point to emphasize that it is not the food that makes a person unclean but the sin that is harboured inside someone’s heart, it has been concluded that Yah doesn’t care so much if a person suddenly starts eating pig or stork. Except that Yah never gave either pig, stork or any other detestable animals as food to us. In fact, nowhere in Scriptures do we have any indication of Yahshua or His disciples or even the Pharisees switching their diets to include unclean animals.

Next, let’s flip to Act.10 – Peter’s vision of the unclean animals.

Act.10:9-15, 28 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” 14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” 15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

Feel free to read the whole passage. For the sake of not being long-winded, I will now skip over to verse 28.

28 He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean. 34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.

There you have it. In plain English. The interpretation that Yah gave to Peter concerning his vision had nothing to do with eating unclean animals and how Yah may have changed His mind and suddenly decided to consider them clean for human consumption. Rather, the unclean animals represented the Gentiles and how salvation was available to them as well.

Next we will look at one of the most misinterpreted Scriptures in this regard.

Rom.14:1-4 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Let’s break this down:

What is the definition of a disputable matter? A disputable matter is something that has not been established as a fact, and therefore is open to question or debate. And do you know what does NOT fall under “disputable matters”? Yah’s commands on what we are allowed to eat. He already made that into Law.

Please note that in Rom.14 Paul is telling the new converts in Rome not to look down on the brethren who had weaker faith and chose different types of diets such as vegetarian or carnivore. Understand that, in their Roman culture, they were used to eating things that offended Yah. Much like Daniel when he lived in Babylon and chose to abstain from the king’s food consisting of an assortment of detestable things including foods sacrificed to idols. Once these new converts came to the faith and decided to obey Yah, they knew they had to alter their diets to reflect Yah’s choices and remove the various abominations they used to indulge in. Some found it easier to become vegetarians, whereas others chose to eat off the list of Yah’s clean animals. That was the “disputable matter”. Please understand that neither being vegetarian or cutting out wine or eating clean meats is detestable to Yah. Yah’s issue is with those who particularly insist on eating things He never gave as food. Please refer back to the first video or Lev.11 to familiarize yourself with His choices.

Once I had a conversation with a brother concerning Passover. I asked him if he celebrated it with roasted lamb. He answered no, because his family was vegetarian. Then I asked him if they would partake in the Communion with wine and unleavened bread. Again, he said no, because his wife used to be an alcoholic and he didn’t want her to be triggered. This is a perfect example that illustrates what Paul meant. Just because this brother chose a different diet than myself it was no cause for me to look down upon him. The important thing for all of us to remember is to NOT eat unclean things. And at the same time, we are not forced to eat everything on the “clean” list.

Next,

Col.2:8, 16-17 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. 16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

This is another favourite Scripture that is often used to defend one’s position about consuming pork and seafood or about celebrating pagan festivals. Please note that this letter was not written to defend the heathen, but the new converts in Colosse. They were the ones who were being judged based on the food they were eating or New Moon and Sabbath festivals they were celebrating. Therefore, Paul was simply telling them not to allow anyone to look down on them because of their decisions to follow THE WAY, the Ancient Path, Yah’s commandments and feast days over vain deceit and the Greek philosophy of their times.

And lastly,

1 Tim.4:1-5 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

Oba.7b) those who eat your bread will set a trap for you, but you will not detect it.

Let’s look this over. This passage says that in later times -as in End Times, people would be forbidden from eating foods that Yah created to be received with thanksgiving. Oftentimes this Scripture is taken as all things that Yah created are okay for us to eat as long as we take them with thanksgiving. That is not what this passage is saying. Look it over again. It specifically addressed us being forbidden from eating things that Yah gave us as food. That means that the things that Yah called detestable are still detestable. If you think about this verse, we’re already there with our food supply and farms under attack. As well as, with the invention of vertical farms that force the production of certain vegetables and fruits over a shorter time span while cutting off the essential soil and sunlight and substituting them with artificial lighting, growing media and concoctions of nutrients. Then we have all sorts of modified and bioengineered ingredients, altered crops, lab-grown meats and 3D printed foods that are being pushed as part of this demonic agenda to defile our temples. Without mentioning processed, packaged, fast-foods and supermarket meats infested with antibiotics, drugs and human cells from aborted babies. While fresh, organic, wholesome foods are becoming a rarity, artificial foods are taking over our shelves. That’s what Yah warned about in this last passage.

If you carefully read through Deuteronomy 28 concerning Yah’s blessings for obedience, you will find that one of them is the bread basket and harvest. There is a reason why our ground is cursed, does not produce as much or as good of a crop than it used to. The reason is because Yah sends problems our way for the purpose of drawing our hearts back to Him. He wants us to return to Him, to cry out to Him, to repent of our ways and be faithful to Him. Then, He would bless the work of our hands. Instead man, in his prideful state would rather play god and invent his own solutions.

Do not be enticed in following the ways of the heathen for the sake of saving your life. He who will try saving his life, will lose it.

It’s a good habit to always pray over our food for Yahshua’s blood to sanctify it before it enters our mouth but at the same time we MUST maintain our integrity to Yah’s Laws if we want to receive His blessing over our kneading basket and harvests as per Lev.26.

Brothers and sisters,

Please pray over this Word. Ask Father to help you remove abominable things from your daily intake so that you may take better care of your temple. Commit to following Him wholeheartedly today and watch Him abundantly reward your obedience.

Shalom!
