I AM Your Shepherd

Why is your face sad? Are you disillusioned with the world? Are you disillusioned with a political leader? I have told you, do not love the world nor the things of the world.
I have told you terrible things are coming upon the earth. These things must happen before I return. I am sovereign over all. Do not fear what the nations fear. Many want to hide in caves but I tell you the wicked will hide in caves crying out for the rocks to fall on them. Why do you want to preserve your way of worldly comfort? Seek the things that are above. For I tell you,
Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
“Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied.
“Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.
“But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.
“Woe to you who are full now, for you shall be hungry.
“Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep.
Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.
I tell you persecution comes to those who follow me.
“Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.
“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.
I have told you these days call for the endurance of the saints. Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
Establish your hearts in Me, your Good Shepherd. Obey Me.
Our Father is good. May we abide in Him, walk by His Spirit and be comforted by Jesus’ rod and staff.
Endure in Him brothers and sisters. A storm comes, but the Lord is our refuge and strength.
