When will my ministers humble themselves? When will my people humble themselves? The church is focused on the theft and immorality of one prominent ministry, but I ask all of you, have you publicly repented for all that you know to be wrong? Have you allowed yourselves to walk through the valley of humiliation, and acknowledge your own transgressions? Or do you, like those apostates in media, try to hide your wickedness, and pretend before all that you have never sinned?
Does not my word say to confess your faults one to another? Is it not written that those who try to cover their sin shall not prosper? Why do you think I am exposing this corrupt ministry, to the shame of my body in front of the entire world? So you can cluck your tongues and shake your head? So you can contribute your own unbiblical podcast and opinion, adding error and confusion to the mix? Have you noticed that so many who speak have no idea how to rightly divide my word? Am I not exposing the biblical ignorance that exists in your land?
No, the reason I am exposing these sins and transgressions to high heaven is to return a healthy fear of the Lord to the land. These things should motivate and inspire you to a deeper personal reflection. Are you hiding some things before the Lord, and before men? Are you too timid to confess your faults before me, and take responsibility before others whom you have taught in error?
Why is it so hard for my disciples to embrace the way of the cross, which is the way of true humility? Is your reputation so important? Do you not see that you will only grow in grace and stature when you humbly acknowledge your faults?
Take heed, lest you also fall into error and darkness. The enemy’s greatest triumph is not keeping souls away from the light, but, once they have seen the light, to turn away from it and keep thinking that they are still walking with me. Yet I will say unto them, depart from me, for I never knew you. And why would I say this? Because my word says that those who once knew me, and then turned away from the holy commandment, all his righteous deeds will not be remembered.
So take heed, and watch and learn. Do not spectate, but participate. Participate in becoming of no reputation through godly confession and true contrition. Do not delay, lest judgment also find you.
To those who have the courage to do such things, great deliverance awaits you. Those who become abased before men shall be highly exalted by your King. Do not hesitate to admit when you’ve gone astray, as that is the surest path to protection from deception. Those who are too proud to walk in transparency will not survive the challenges ahead.
