"Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past.  For behold, the Lord comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth will also disclose her blood, and will no more cover her slain."  Isaiah 26: 20-21

1) Prayer and fasting are the most important things you can do to prepare before building your Safe Haven.  Pray for the Father’s mercy, grace, provision, guidance, direction, favor, and blessing in Jesus’ name.

2)  Here are some general guidelines for finding a good property.  Look for a place at least 80 miles away from a major city.  Try to stay 25 miles south of the Canadian border and 90 miles north of our southern border.  Try to settle 90 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico, and at least 125 miles east or west of the Mississippi River.  Locate at least 70 miles west of the East Coast and 400 miles east of the West Coast.  It is better to be at least 1,500 feet above sea level.

3)  One way to finance the purchase of the land is to sell your home or access your home’s equity.  What good is a house in the big city if United Nations’ troops will be going door to door forcing people into FEMA camps?  Those who resist will be shot and left to die.

4)  The most important thing to look for in a farm or ranch property is water.  Try to find one with a well, spring, or live creek.  You will need at least eight acres.  Eight is the number of new beginnings.  Try to buy the largest property that you can afford.  As the darkness increases, the Holy Spirit will be sending you believers in search of shelter.  They will be tired, hungry, and lacking provisions.

5)  It is better to search for a property that is several miles away from a paved highway.  Give preference to one with some improvements, including a good fence and gate.

6)  Visit a KOA camp in your area.  Carefully observe how the camp is set up and the type of construction used.  Keep this information in mind as you build your Safe Haven.

7)  Build a lodge with separate showers for women and men.  Also include an office, kitchen, and room(s) dedicated to medical care.  There are many good companies that will build a structure for you.  Other firms offer kits for you to build it yourself.

8)  If you have enough time and money, build an underground fallout shelter.  It can be constructed using gunite sprayed over a wood frame with steel rebar.  Consider including a refrigerated room for food storage.  Another room could be lined with galvanized steel to serve as a shield against EMP weapons.  Electronic equipment and computers may be housed in this room.

9)  Consider installing a diesel power generator.  Also think about purchasing a machine that produces biodiesel fuel, as well as an auxillary fuel storage tank.  Take a look at solar panels and storage batteries.

10)  After purchasing your field, be sure to seal it using olive oil.  Pour the oil into a handheld sprayer.  Walk around the perimeter spraying oil on the fence.  Pray for the Father’s protection in Jesus’ name.  Claim the land for the Lord Jesus Christ and His kingdom.  Cancel any curses connected to the land in the name of Jesus.

11)  America is identified as “Babylon” in the Bible.  Jeremiah chapter 51 and Revelation chapter 18 contain the keys to understanding this truth.  Babylon’s judgment will be horrendous:  natural disasters, nuclear blasts, radioactive fallout, invasion by foreign troops, famine, and pestilence.  The Lord will lead some to move to Israel, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, New Zealand, India, and the Philippines.  Many others will escape the judgments by returning to their homelands.  Although this word of wisdom is addressed to the United States of America, some of the points mentioned may help believers in other nations.

12)  We are in a difficult spiritual battle, and ha Satan is relentless in his efforts to destroy us.  Every day, we need to ask God the Father in Jesus’ name to cover us in His complete armor and the mantle of humility (Ephesians 6: 10-18 and I Peter 5: 5-7).

In Christ,
Mourner
