Favor in Your Enemy’s Presence

On 3/5/2026 at 4:34am, I received the following word from the Lord Jesus Christ:

Pray for favor in the presence of your enemies. Though the enemy may compass round about you, I can move upon the hearts and minds of man to afford you favor. Favor of deliverance, rather than bondage. Favor of peace, rather than strife. Favor of wisdom, rather than foolishness. Favor of liberty, rather than captivity. Did the prison guard show favor to Paul and Silas after I opened the prison door? Was that guard then brought to salvation because of their example? Yes, indeed! I AM well able to remove the devices of the enemy, and move upon the hearts and minds of man, if only you believe. As the world darkens further under the weight of its sin, the enemy will compass round about you on many fronts. Wars in the spiritual realm as well as the physical. Pray aforehand, My Children, to have favor in the presence of your enemies. I AM well able to deliver. I AM well able to afford you favor. Be an example always, for I AM well able to bring to salvation the enemy within your midst. Remembering always to give Me the glory, when I do.

Insights:

Pray aforehand” means to pray beforehand.

Soon after I was saved by Jesus Christ in 2006, I had a short but vivid dream.  I rarely remember my dreams, but I remembered this one. The Holy Spirit brought to mind the following dream as an example of “favor in the presence of your enemies”.

The Checkpoint Dream

In this dream, I was traveling by vehicle down what appeared to be a highway. As I drove, I came upon a military checkpoint.  The military soldiers were undetermined in the dream, but they spoke broken English. As I came to a stop at the checkpoint, I began praying to the Lord for protection and wisdom. Soldiers with rifles were then positioned around my vehicle.  It frightened me because I was alone.  A soldier then gestured for me to roll down my window.  When I did, he demanded the documents necessary to pass through the checkpoint.  I did not have the necessary documents.  I sensed in the dream that I did not have them because it would have been an offense to Jesus Christ. Upon his request, the Holy Spirit spoke to me.  He said, “Pick up the blank piece of paper in your passenger seat.  Give it to him.  He will see what is necessary”. In the dream, I literally picked up a blank piece of paper and handed it to the soldier, in faith. That soldier saw every jot and tittle necessary to clear me for passage through the checkpoint, even though I had handed him a blank piece of paper! The Lord’s favor was upon me in the presence of my enemies. As I departed the checkpoint, tears streamed down my cheeks out of gratitude as I gave glory to the Most High God.
