Famine

The Lord has been speaking to me in an uncanny way; asleep and awake finishing a conversation before He begins it and I recall a piece of the conversation that seemingly had nothing to do with what I later was told. See what I mean? He is Lord over time. He’s so wonderful!

Last week, on March 8th, I woke up at approximately 5:45 to hear “Famine in the city.” Originally I thought it was “famine in the land” as I was trying to wake, write, and look at the audio Bible. But I am discerning that the Lord is so specific because this is what He means. I believe the Lord is showing the famine will start in the CITIES because of a dependence on the grocery stores rather than farms and ranches being self sufficient. This was out of Jeremiah 52:6 and it states by the 9th day of the fourth month the famine would be so severe there would be no food to eat. If the Lord is speaking literally that would lend itself to April 9th.

There have been several posts to events in April and ensuring that you have food and supplies in reserve.

Something I would like to add is this, inflation is running at about 20% let’s say every 6 months. That means your $1000 is only $800, or purchases only $800 worth of stuff. So it is better to seek God and get what you need than to hold all of your dollars in your piggy bank. It’s as if your $ is disappearing. You can always barter with goods if for some reason you need something you don’t have. Ask God what you need and get it, because when it’s gone or unavailable, that’s reality, not what $ you have in the bank.

Jesus told the rich young ruler to sell all that he had and follow Him. I believe this to be a rhema word for many. Think about it, why wait til the masses are trying to offload their toys for extra cash? What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? And you will hear a word behind you saying this is the way, walk therein…Isaiah 30:21
