“False Prophet … False Prophet!”

Humbled for Service

Psalm 30: 11 – 12 [11] You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, [12] To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

This is one of 3 short dreams that I received the morning of 31st July 2020. I would like to share this dream for the edification of the believers. We are living in the era of many false teachers and prophets, and we need to be firmly rooted in the word of God, to be able to spot what is contrary. And I believe that this is the message of the dream.

The False Prophet

The dream was thus:

I was inside a hall or auditorium, and it was almost completely dark inside this building. There was a podium at the center of this hall or auditorium and I was facing it.  I seemed to be seated somewhere in the middle of the hall. I knew that the hall was packed with people, although I did not see anyone at first because of the gross darkness.

In front of us was a man preaching, giving a talk or delivering a sermon. We were all attentively listening and there was absolute silence, except for this man who went on preaching. As he preached, he seemed to be bending down to refer to a certain book that was on the pulpit. As the man continued to preach, the “sentences” he quoted from this book did not sound familiar. I remember feeling a bit confused and troubled in spirit.

“That’s not what the Bible says…” I kept saying to myself.

This got me really interested in knowing which book this man was preaching from, because many times he was bending down to read from it.

Although it was dark, my curiosity was finally satisfied when I finally got to see the cover of the book. The pulpit was a modern one made of glass, and I was able to see the front and back covers of the book, as I looked at the book through the pulpit glass from below. The cover of this book was scaly like the skin of a snake. And to confirm it was made from snake skin, it had the motif of the head of a snake imprinted on it. .

“Aha…” I said to myself, now understanding what this cover could mean or symbolise.

Immediately after seeing this, a man stood up and climbed up the dais and said loudly, “You are a false prophet”.

And yet another man also stood up in the auditorium and said, “Yes … false prophet”.

Still a third and a fourth person stood up and called out the preacher saying “false prophet, false prophet”.
Soon there were many others in the hall calling out the preacher as a false prophet.

Much relieved, I reclined backwards onto my seat.

The dream ended.

RELEVANT SCRIPTURES:

Deceptions of False Teachers

2 Peter 2: 18 – 22 [18] For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. [19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. [20] For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. [21] For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. [22] But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Error and Greed

1 Timothy 6: 3 -10 [3] If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, [4] he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, [5] useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

[6] Now godliness with contentment is great gain. [7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. [8] And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. [9] But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. [10] For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The Good Confession

1 Timothy 6: 11 -16 [11] But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. [12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. [13] I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, [14] that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, [15] which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, [16] who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

The Compromising Church

Revelation 2: 14 -16 [14] But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. [15] Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. [16] Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

I pray your edification.

Greetings!

Your brother in Christ, William

  1. Pr. Aaron

    Beloved brother.
Your dream is really true, just look at some prophecies and dreams published here, which do not match the Word of God.
Many would like the Church to be raptured before the tribulation, so they defend it as if it were true, but that is not what the Bible says. We will be here until the 7th. and last trumpet (1st. Co 15:52, Rev 11:15)
Some would like to see the wicked condemned soon, and punished, so they dream of the “IMMEDIATE” destruction of certain cities and nations, but ignore that the prophecies are for the whole land, especially Israel. God will judge and condemn all rebel nations equally and in His time.
Is America more sinful than idolatrous nations or that worship strange gods, or that persecute or spread hatred against the “children of the true God”? No. Sin is terrible across the earth today.
And what we see most today in the midst of the Church are false prophets, preachers of unbiblical theories like “prosperity and self-help” as if God had promised Heaven on Earth. False teachers, dreamers who seek the spotlight as if they were “more special” than others for God.
Humility, fear, reverence, love, affection, consecration, sanctification, repentance and especially Total dependence on God are lacking.
There is too much, self-sufficiency, irreverence, indifference, disrespect, disaffection, insolence and above all disregard for the inerrant Word of God.
Unfortunately what Paul wrote to Timoteo is happening, and that includes many who claim to be Christians and Prophets even.

    2a. TM 3
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
    4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

It is the faithful fulfillment of the Word of God, announced by the Lord Jesus: “Many will come in my name and deceive many”

    Pr. Aaron
