Eze 7:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Here commences yet another pronouncement of doom against these rebellious people of God. The next chapter gives us a 2nd date of 592 BC, around September, so we are still in the period between the 5th year, 4th month of king Jehoiachin’s captivity (July of 593 BC), and the 5th year, 6th month (September of 592 BC).
This is the 4th time that the word of the Lord has come to him, and in a fairly short time period, at least if we examine the writings of all the prophets of the Old Testament. Often several years could pass between sayings, but not always.
In fact, the phrase ‘the word of the Lord came to me’, or something similar, occurs 46 more times in Ezekiel, making a total of 50 separate words that God chose to record for all eternity. Compare that to someone such as Obadiah, who had one, and only one, vision recorded. The point is that it is up to God to choose exactly how little or how much to use you. It is up to God to determine what will be preserved amongst men, and what will be known only to heaven. Who knows how many other words and visions prophets such as these received? But God chose to preserve these, and only these, for his own reasons. Therefore it is up to us to choose to be content with the portion that the Father apportions to us. It is not up to us to decide if we are to have a busy ministry such as Ezekiel, or a comparatively quieter one such as Obadiah. If Obadiah ever felt slighted, all he has to be reminded of is that he is in extremely rare company – he is one of only a handful of souls who had the privilege of writing a portion of sacred scripture! Talk about an exclusive club! No, he did not garner as many pages and chapters as Ezekiel, but that is still pretty heady company, is it not? So too it is with us. We are part of a very exclusive club – the body of Christ. The vast, vast majority of souls will not make it into this elect assembly. Let us be grateful that the Father has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, and be content with our own portion.
So now we know that we are going to be studying 50 different prophecies of Ezekiel, amongst the other things that are written within. And guess what the topic of almost every verse is going to be? Do you think God will want to sort of balance out his teachings as we go along? Since he has spoken of judgment, even harsh judgment, even the sort of judgment that is full of poisonous wrath and rage, that now he will want to speak of his love and mercy?
Well, think again. This book, along with Jeremiah’s writings, overwhelmingly deal with the consequences of evil human behavior. I fear for us as I ponder this. I fear that as we study each and every verse, the sheer repetitiousness of the theme of total judgment may cause our minds to wander, and our attention span to lag. We may tend to gloss over the verses after awhile, arrogantly assuming that we think we know all that there to know about God’s ways in judgment. I believe this is a common occurrence when the average believer reads a book such as Ezekiel. Because of the repetition, we start to read, just for the sake of reading, in order to finish it, and go on to the next thing in the bible. As a result, very little revelation actually penetrates our souls, as we refuse to treat the holy word of God with the kind of respect and reverence that it deserves.
Should we not pause and reflect upon why God is so eager to repeat himself concerning his fearful and most terrifying judgments? Is it not because there is no more important topic in all of creation than this? Some would legitimately argue that the topic of salvation in Christ is the most important. And rightly so. But God spends far more time warning the sinner than revealing Christ to the seeker, at least as far as the Old Testament goes. And why is that? Without a knowledge and understanding of how terrible and consequential unrepentant sin is, then who can be saved? If we have no idea just how much our rebellion to God’s commandments upsets him, then what motivation is there to stop and turn around?
God will go to as extreme a length as is possible in this book to try and communicate the fact that his people’s lifestyle is not only driving him to a level of anger that is virtually unprecedented in its depth of feeling, but that they are guaranteeing a certain place in the eternal torments of hell, away from his presence for all time. The time for tearful, sorrowful pleading with his people is over. They had his word, they had teaching priests and many prophets. They had the witness of creation, and their own conscience. They had all the blessings of heaven at one time. But nothing worked. All that was left was pain. Pain, and more pain. Judgment upon increasing judgment. But they were now at a point in their history that Isaiah spoke of:
Isa 1:5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
In other words, why should God chastise them anymore, as they would not repent, but simply go further into rebellion. There was nothing left but to let the full consequence of their sins, committed over many generations, play out. And that consequence was death. Death in every form imaginable.
Eze 7:2 Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end (kates – an extremity, utmost border, from a root meaning to chop off), the end (kates) is come upon the four corners (kaw-nawf – edges, extremities) of the land.
The first thing I noticed in this chapter is a type of figure of speech, or writing style, that God chooses to employ in several verses. Since God is attempting to communicate the reality of exactly how he feels by repeating himself over and over, maybe he decided to use some catchy turns of phrase to draw their attention. Take a look at all these snippets of verses combined:
v2 – An end, the end is come
v5 – An evil, an only evil, behold, is come
v6 – An end is come, the end is come
v10 – Behold the day, behold, it is come
v12 – The time is come, the day draweth near
v17 – All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak
v26 – Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour
Note the use of repetition of one form or another. Within one of several repetitious prophecies, God uses several instances of repetition in order to try to catch his audience’s attention with clever and memorable phrases. Not only is he emphasizing and reemphasizing his one major theme, he is also attempting to speak in such a way that at least some souls may be tempted to listen, just because words being spoken are combined in such a way that grabs the attention of the idle hearer.
God is willing to go to almost any length in order to try and reach us. He will repeat himself over and over, if it helps to draw the attention of even one more soul. Perhaps he feels that the people do not yet grasp the gravity of their situation. Perhaps he feels that he can express himself slightly differently, and this time something will finally click in their dull and blinded brains. He will continue to speak, if there is the slightest chance of repentance.
But as we discovered in the book of Jeremiah when we studied it, there does come a time and a place in a nation’s life when God will stop speaking, as there is nothing more to say. I fear that the west has stepped into, or is stepping into, that period in our own history in this generation.
Some commentators feel that a colon should be placed after the first ‘end’. That first ‘end’ would therefore signify the end of God’s patience. As a result of that, the end has come for the land itself. I also think that one could simply look at God repeating himself for emphasis, since we find that he uses this writing tactic in several verses in this chapter. That is, God is saying an end, yes, an end, has come for the land of Israel. While the northern kingdom has perished years ago, the word Israel can refer to all the land given to the patriarchs, or just to the northern kingdom, but also occasionally to the area of Judah within Israel, as in this verse.
Eze 7:3 Now is the end (kates) come upon thee, and I will send mine anger (af – enraged as smoke from the nostril mad) upon thee, and will judge (shaw-fat – pronounce sentence) thee according to thy ways (deh-rek – a road or course of life), and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations (to-ay-baw – morally disgusting).
God does not become angry on a whim, because he’s having a bad day, or his personal angels happened to sing off key in the heavenly chorus. No, his anger is always for a just reason, and his punishment always fits the crime. Thus, God punishes mankind according to the road of life that they chose for themselves. If you want to ignore God all your natural life, then you will get to ignore him for all eternity in hell, where he will be nowhere to be found.
I believe verses such as these teach degrees of punishment. Even as there are various degrees of punishment for various sins in the Torah, so God will mete out various degrees of punishment for the lost in hell. While God is not in hell, and it was really created as the domain for the devil and his angels, I don’t think it is a stretch to believe that each soul may be assigned a specific type and level of torment in hell that the evil angels will be constrained to enforce. But of course that is pure speculation.
We need to understand that God is judging us 24/7. We love to tell others not to judge us, but try and tell that to God! Every thought, every word, every action is being carefully scrutinized. And unless we get it all under the blood, we will have to give an account for it all. Unless you find true repentance in your life, you can be sure that God will fully recompense your evil ways back upon your own head.
Which brings up an interesting concept. Let us assume that you and I, as good Christians, have confessed every sin and put it under the blood, right through our entire lives. But we will still stand at the judgment seat of Christ, as Paul speaks of:
2Co_5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
If all our bad stuff is under the blood, forgiven and forgotten, then what shall we be judged over? Sins done in ignorance, that we had no idea of? Some think this will only consist of the rewards we get for the good we managed to do. Obviously the blood of Jesus has cleansed us, and given us eternal salvation. But I don’t believe anyone can know with absolute certainly exactly what this judgment entails. All I know is that I agree with Paul’s sentiments in this verse:
Heb_10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
This is why I believe that it is more crucial than ever for the Laodicean generation to do whatever it takes to take the time to study, really study, a book such as Ezekiel.
Let this book sink deep into our bones, and I guarantee you that the fear of Yehovah will blossom in your heart as never before.
Eze 7:4 And mine eye shall not spare (khoos – pity) thee, neither will I have pity (khaw-mal – compassion): but I will recompense thy ways (deh-rek) upon thee, and thine abominations (to-ay-baw) shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
What does God see when he looks at our nation? At Canada? At America? At western Europe, and the rest of the west? Apart from America, which is valiantly attempting to reverse course at this time in 2025, every other western nation has been cursed with extremely wicked rulers. While America may have cause for at least some measure of temporary hope, the rest of us have no such hope at this time. Looking at my own nation of Canada, I truly believe that we are the legalized murder capital of the world. No restriction on abortion. An ever expanding list of approved government sponsored and encouraged regimen of assisted suicide. Genital mutilation of children protected by law. State sanctioned grooming of children in schools by pedophiles and sexually deranged teachers. Legalized opioids, given free by the government to street addicts. Legalized marijuana seemingly on every street corner, also sold by the government. Still pushing the poisonous, murderous jab in every province, even to 6 month old babies. The government killing of chickens and even ostriches, all based on fraudulent PCR tests. The unlimited welcoming of a countless number of muslims, with no end in sight, many of whom are bent on murdering every Christian and Jew that they can get their hands on.
And this is just a quick summary of one nation. And Christians mostly reject teaching such as this, when I claim that the book of Jeremiah and Ezekiel are the most relevant for our generation, more than any other book! Israel and Judah committed grave sins, but they did not have near the revelation and understanding of God’s truth as western civilization has had. Two thousand years of Christianity, and our nations have sunk far below any degrading standard that Judah ever reached. And yet, hear the word of the Lord spoken against them. Yahweh says he will not spare, nor will he pity. Instead, he will give them what they truly deserve. And God’s actions will serve to prove that he is God. That is, he is the one who has the sole power to judge, and to punish, and to recompense. Not the devil, not wicked men, but only God reserves the right to punish all sin.
This statement about abominations is worded in such a way as to make it sound as if God will turn them over to their sin when he judges them, so they won’t be able to repent, thus guaranteeing that no mercy will be shown until they and the land are completely destroyed. This is one of the worst dangers of continuing in rebellion. There can come a time and place where God will blind you to reality. When that occurs, no repentance will be possible, as God at that point has determined that your sin is of such an egregious nature, that total consequence must be experienced, with no possibility of an intervening period of mercy and grace. This is why we must respond each and every time God is convicting us of something. As more and more individuals in a land refuse to respond to Holy Ghost conviction, the nation’s sins begin to pile up. Eventually, the culture changes, as it has in the west in our lifetimes. Now, we have open contempt and defiance for all things holy. People are actively siding with the worst people on earth, such as our children siding with the murderous muslims against the Jews. Soccer moms in their expensive SUV’s screech about the rights of their mutilated transgender demon possessed child. So many in our nations are so far past the point of even the possibility of repentance. In Canada, I honestly do not believe there is enough of a remnant to even delay the total destruction of this once great and glorious nation.
I hope I am wrong. Somehow I doubt it, though.
Eze 7:5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil (rah – adversity, affliction, calamity, misery, vexation), an only evil (rah), behold, is come.
That is, an evil so unique in horribleness (is that a word?), so deep in calamity, misery and vexation, that no one can even imagine what this will be like, even if I should use the entire vocabulary at my disposal to attempt to describe it.
This verse is as good as any verse in this book that tries to get across the true heart of God. Yahweh uses every word for evil and wickedness in the Hebrew language to try and get across the idea as to how bad Judah has become, and as to how bad the judgment is that he is about to unleash on them. Their suffering will reach operatic proportions. There are simply no words to describe the horror that Yahweh is compelled to unleash on his own rebellious people. And remember, this sentence is for his very own people, not the pagan. Why do we think that Yahweh will treat us any different, if we choose to act the same way? If the west engages in the same behavior as Judah, then the same judgment shall fall upon us.
What amazes me is that God is claiming that this evil he is sending is unique. He has already flooded the entire planet. He burnt up Sodom and Gomorrah. But somehow this judgment is unique. Perhaps it has something to do with having to take out his wrath on his very own tribe. Perhaps it has to do with the length of the exile that will be a result of this destruction. 70 years to begin with. Then a restoration to only a pale form of what once was. Then a final destruction in AD 70. Then a near 2000 year exile. Then one more final judgment, before they will look upon him whom they have pierced. And in between all that, a holocaust thrown in for good measure. You definitely do not want to provoke Yahweh, especially if you claim to belong to him. All this to say that Yahweh is not one to take for granted, or trifle with.
Eze 7:6 An end (kates) is come, the end (kates) is come: it watcheth (koots – abruptly awakes) for thee; behold, it is come.
We like to think that God watches over us and our loved ones, especially our children. We tell our little ones that Jesus and his angels watch over them while they sleep. Well, how would you like to know that your appointed destruction is also watching over you, waiting for the perfect time to strike? You, who are backslid and far away from the Lord, if any angel is watching over you, it might be the destroying angel, waiting for the signal from heaven to execute judgment on your unrepentant heart.
Eze 7:7 The morning (tsef-ee-raw – crown, a turn of affairs, also from a root meaning a prancing he goat) is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble (meh-hoo-maw – confusion, uproar, tumult) is near, and not the sounding again (hade – shout, only time in OT) of the mountains.
An obscure verse, with various interpretations. Some think the word rendered morning (tsef-ee-raw), which can mean crown, or circuit, denotes that your sins have come full circle. I think another nuance of meaning may have something to do with the alternate definition of a prancing he goat. The satyr is come into your land, to curse it, and finish you off. Since the satyrs are here, the time of tumult is here.
All we have to do is look at what Antifa is attempting to do in America. They want to burn down the land. And in every nation, the demon possessed satanically inspired marxists and islamists want to burn down our lands. The day of uproar and tumult is indeed here, is it not?
The word hade is only found here. Not like the sounding of the mountains, which echo various sounds, the sounds of your destruction is definitely real. Or, some think the sound is the joyful sound that many make during the harvest. That sound will not be heard again. I like to see a hint of the shutting down of the silly ‘Jericho marches’ and the ‘declaring’ of some sort of victory, or some such other nonsensical babbling by the shallow charismatics of our day. No more shall be seen of you marching around a city, shouting victory, victory. Rather, the day of trouble has now found you. The only shouting you will hear is the sound of judgment as your enemies triumph over you.
Eze 7:8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury (khay-maw – hot poisonous rage) upon thee, and accomplish (kaw-law – complete, end, finish) mine anger (af) upon thee: and I will judge (shaw-fat) thee according to thy ways (deh-rek), and will recompense thee for all thine abominations (to-ay-baw).
God, can you please speak more clearly? That is, can you tell us what you really think?
Can God be any more clear? He wants us to know that for people in Judah’s spiritual condition, hot poisonous rage is their lot. God will not only begin, but he will make a full end of executing his fierce anger on his own people. God will not judge them arbitrarily, but according to their own ways, or sins that they have committed. He promises that he will recompense, or repay them in full for the evils that they have chosen to commit.
If you choose to commit evil, God promises to visit you with evil in return. This sure promise of God I have yet to hear of even one Christian confessing and claiming it as their own!
Eze 7:9 And mine eye shall not spare (khoos), neither will I have pity (khaw-mal): I will recompense thee according to thy ways (deh-rek) and thine abominations (to-ay-baw) that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth (naw-kaw – strikes, beats, wounds, slaughters, slays, punishes).
Again and again God repeats himself. I think it is because he knew so few would believe him, when it came to judgment.
The first great truth being spoken of here is that it is God who destroys the rebellious. Not the devil, not wicked men, not random chance, not climate change or white supremacy or colonialism. Laodicean churches are full of preachers who only teach that God is love. They refuse to see this side of the Father. Love toward the saint, even to the ignorant and the lost. But white hot rage to the rebel. Those who refuse to repent, they have nothing to look forward to except destruction.
The second great truth is that it is God who smites his own children. Not just the rebellious pagan, but this whole book is all about God smiting his own disobedient children. If you think you can call yourself a Christian, and then wilfully refuse to obey the commandments of the Lord, and expect God to be okay with that, then you are a great fool. In fact, you could argue that you are the king (or queen) of fools. This is why the heresy of eternal security is so damning. It tends to give the warped idea that if you are once saved always saved, then nothing, not even the vilest behavior committed by you, can separate you from the love of God. That is absurd, it is wrong, and even on the surface it is simply a stupid idea. Just how dumb do you think God is, if you think he has no problem with letting any vile, disobedient person into heaven, just because they prayed a sinner’s prayer at one time, and their local pastor told them that it is impossible for them to lose their salvation?
Look carefully at how this last phrase is worded. I will punish you Judah, with a unique evil (something that has never been seen before), so that you shall know and understand that it is your very own loving Yehovah that smites you to death. God wants it known that it is he that punishes sin. The devil does not punish sin. He encourages and celebrates it. Just because your punishment has not yet manifested does not mean that it is annulled. Only the precious blood of Jesus can annul your rightful punishment from the hand of a smiting God. Get that plain truth through your head once and for all.
The phrase of ‘ye shall know that I am the Lord’ occurs again and again, and always in the context of God meting out punishment for evil. Judgments will prove that God is real. We seem to think that the love of God needs to be preached in order to show his reality to people. Well, in previous generations, when the fear of God was still in the land, and a Christian conscience still prevailed, the love of God may have melted a sinner’s heart. Go try and preach the love of God to a muslim in our lands today. Or Antifa. I guarantee you that 99.9 times out of 100 you will have a vile invective hurled in your face. No, only the judgments of God will now make a dent in the hardened hearts of those who have turned their backs to him. The judgment of God may lead to the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom.
And that is another point. If the church was actually walking in real power and anointing in these last days, then why is there virtually no muslim in the west being saved? We have millions and millions of them in our lands, yet I hear of almost none coming to Christ. Now don’t go bothering me with your anecdotal stories of one saved here, another one there. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule. But if we were walking with the favor of God, we should be seeing mass revival in our lands, as all these pagans are on our home turf, so to speak. The fact that no one is getting converted, but most are protesting and rioting in our streets, shows that God has sent them here to judge and destroy us, not for us to save them (though you may be used to reach the odd one or two).
Look at this word naw-kaw – strikes, beats, wounds, slaughters, slays, punishes. Yahweh is doing this to his own children. And we are afraid to even spank our own child! We have departed a long way from the principles taught in the bible, have we not?
Eze 7:10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning (tsef-ee-raw) is gone forth; the rod (mat-teh – branch for chastising or ruling) hath blossomed (tsoots – flourished), pride (zaw-done – arrogance, presumption) hath budded (paw-rakh – bloomed, blossomed, flourished).
When sin reaches full maturity, when pride has run its course, when arrogance and presumption fills our hearts and the hearts of our pastors in the pulpits, the rod of God comes out. Not for healing, but for smiting.
Eze 7:11 Violence (khaw-mawce – unjust gain, cruelty, injustice) is risen up into a rod (mat-teh) of wickedness (reh-shah – moral wrongness, iniquity): none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs (haym – abundance, wealth, only time in OT): neither shall there be wailing (no-ah – lamentation) for them.
Keeping the italicized words in mind, the idea is that nothing at all shall be left in the land. Not an individual, not any group of individuals, not even the slightest scrap of wealth. Has not violence risen up in the land? Is not America full of shootings and riots? Have not the muslim invaders used the excuse of the success of the Israeli army, whom God has used to defeat 7 foes at the same time, to riot in the west? Is not violence the last, and most deadly, card that the left has left to play? Either this violence is defeated in America, or the light of freedom will be snuffed out. Not just in America, but in all the world.
This judgment is complete. It affects the people, the land, and all its wealth. Nothing is spared. The judgment is so great that no one mourns your death. Either no one cares, or no one is left, or there are too many to mourn over. Has that not been the case with the vax deaths? Anywhere from 20 to 80 million worldwide, according to the best estimates, have perished as a direct result of the deadly jab. And yet, few mourn. I find the only way that I can reignite the pity in my heart is to listen to individual stories of suffering and cruelty. When it comes down to one person’s story, that makes the pain more real, does it not?
Another reason that there may be no mourning is that who mourns over the loss of the truly wicked? Does anyone mourn when a wicked leader leaves office? Will anyone mourn when the likes of a Soros or a Gates leaves this mortal coil for their just recompense from Yahweh?
Eze 7:12 The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer (kaw-naw – owner) rejoice (saw-makh – brighten up, make merry), nor the seller (maw-kar – of merchandise, or a daughter into marriage, or into slavery, to surrender) mourn (aw-bal – bewail, lament): for wrath (khaw-rone – burning anger, fierce fury) is upon all the multitude thereof.
Because the Lord delays his return (at least in our eyes), we tend to spiritually go to sleep, and all the while, the enemy is sowing his tares and spreading his kingdom of darkness, like a plague. But there comes a day, and now even is, when the time comes to settle up our accounts with him. Not only as a nation, but each and every one of us has an appointed time with him, when we will be asked to give an account of our lives.
As our economies fall (even in America, where some good things are occurring), people become desperate, and are willing to sell things at any price, in order to survive. God says that the buyer should not boast, as all material goods are destined to perish in a land that has been set aside for judgment. The seller should not lament overmuch in that they have had to let go of some precious possessions for next to nothing, as soon all will be gone anyway. In the same way, hoarders should not think that they are safe, because they have a few years worth of food squirrelled away. You cannot hide yourself, or your goods, from the wrath of God.
In this culture, it was not uncommon to sell your daughter into bondage, and it was certainly common to give her in marriage. You may have grieved that you could not feed her anymore, so you gave her away to someone who may not have been a desirable husband. God says to not mourn over it, as his wrath will fall upon all, so no one will escape suffering.
What this verse certainly teaches is an utter renunciation of the odious doctrine that the end time wealth of the sinner will be transferred into the hands of the saints. Come on now. Does anyone out there who is of the true remnant actually believe that garbage? And garbage it is. The end times is not harvest time. It is judgment time. You wish to know what to expect in the days ahead? Then first, stop going to the soothsayers and the psychics, who masquerade as prophets. Very, very little prophecy is prediction of specific future events. Most prophecy is the highlighting of certain portions of the word that God wants us to focus on in the hour and the day that we are currently in.
We are in the day of judgment. The end of days is the tribulation, also known as Jacob’s trouble. Things are about to get tough. Very tough. Nobody in the church is going to get rich. How can anyone who owns a bible get sucked into believing such rubbish?
This verse says wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. That includes even the remnant. While the wrath may not be directed at the remnant per se, the remnant will still find themselves living in the midst of the land where judgment is falling. Whether or not God shields you from some, or most, or all of the wrath, is up to him, not you. Anyone who is eagerly jumping up and down, rejoicing that the tribulation is here, is nuts. There is no fun in total destruction.
Eze 7:13 For the seller (maw-kar) shall not return (shoob – to turn back, even to the starting point, return, reverse, repent) to that which is sold, although they were yet (while yet) alive (khahee khahee – raw flesh, life, wild beast): for the vision (khaw-zone – dream, revelation, oracle) is touching (about) the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return (shoob); neither shall any (eesh – a man) strengthen himself (khaw-zak – help, repair, fortify, become mighty) in the iniquity (aw-vone – perversity, moral evil) of his life (khahee).
The idea here is that this particular judgment is not temporary, but permanent. The seller shall not be able to recover anything sold, as it will all disappear. Even if they were alive, yes alive (the word for alive is written twice for emphasis), it would not matter, as there would be nothing to reacquire. Some commentators think this also refers to the fact that the seller of land shall not have it returned to him in the year of Jubilee, as any survivors will all be in captivity, and away from the land.
This vision, or word, will touch everyone. The word shall not return, or turn back, or be withdrawn to the source from whence it sprung. There is nothing any man can do in and of himself to save himself. In other words, there is no natural strength that will succeed in saving someone from this fate.
Eze 7:14 They have blown the trumpet (taw-ko-ah, only time on OT), even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath (khaw-rone) – is upon all the multitude thereof.
I remember one of the first prophecies I was given for the nation of Canada back in February of 2022 concerning what was occurring at the truckers convoy in Ottawa. Towards the end of that protest, some charismatics decided to do a Jericho march around the parliament building, in order to tear down the walls of oppression and coercion. The very next day, a chain link fence was erected all around the buildings. In effect, God did the exact opposite of what these silly people were commanding and declaring the previous day! I love God’s sense of irony. Though there was certainly no joy on that day. My prophecy went something along the lines of God mocking these Jericho marchers, saying that greater walls of judgment and oppression were in store for Canada, because he could not find genuine repentance in the land. Everyone wanted their freedoms back, but no one wanted to truly change their lifestyles. And very few wanted to stand up against the tyranny, if it was actually going to cost them anything in fines, charitable status, arrests, or reputation.
In this verse God is saying that even though the Judean army will implement every preparation possible to fight the enemy, and call all to battle, no one has the heart nor the strength to actually fight. And it is because of God’s wrath. That is, God wants to take direct credit yet again. God could have easily blamed their fearfulness, their cowardice, their hesitancy to follow anyone into battle, but instead God says that I, God, have caused them to lose all heart.
Unless God gives us the heart for battle, we cannot stand. Does this not echo the curse found in Deuteronomy?
Deu 28:63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
Deu 28:64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
Deu 28:65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
Deu 28:66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
Deu 28:67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
Deu 28:68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
We love to quote this obscure OT verse:
Zep 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
But how come no one quotes Deut 28:63? This is another of those ‘rejoicing’ verses, is it not? We so love to read about God rejoicing over us with joy, but how about when he rejoices over us to destroy us, and to bring us to nothing? How about when he says he will pluck us off our own land? Why are we ignoring all these horrible promises of this same God? Don’t we want to ensure that we do everything possible to avoid those promises becoming true? Would it not be far more profitable that instead of wasting our time marching around some building, naming and claiming and declaring some utterly nonsensical fairy tale of a wish, that we search our hearts to see if there is any wicked thing in us, that would attract the attention of a wrathful God? Would our time not be better spent weeping and wailing over the sins of our fellow man, our nation, and our people? If we cannot stop our neighbors from sinning and drawing the wrath of God down upon us, at least we can intercede for them, that God will step in and cause them to have a change of heart before it’s too late.
We love to quote the passage where Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Yes, we no longer have to follow all of the rituals of the ceremonial and symbolic portions of the Mosaic law. But God is holy and righteous and just. When we enter into a covenant with God, he expects us to keep our word when we say we will follow in the footsteps of his son. Choose to behave in the same manner as the Jews did in Ezekiel’s day, and you will suffer the same fate. Don’t believe me? Then listen to the words of Jesus:
Luk 13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
Luk 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
Luk 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Luk 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
Luk 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Do not think that the curses for disobedience have been magically annulled for the backslidden, just because they have at one time or another experienced God’s wonderful forgiveness. It doesn’t work that way. If that was the case, then America especially should be free from any and all judgment, since there are many millions who have professed some sort of faith in Christ. But did you know that in a survey run by Barna in early 2025, only 4% of Americans hold to a biblical worldview? 92% hold to a syncretistic worldview, that is, an illicit mixture of many beliefs and philosophies. Can you imagine the minuscule percentage of people in other nations such as Canada who hold to an exclusively biblical worldview? It boggles the mind, but does clearly point to the dire moral straits that we all find ourselves in.
In this environment, none are really going out to the battle. In our day, many ‘declare’ war against the principalities and powers that they believe rule over their cities and nations. But no victories are being won because God is not going out to battle with us. Repentance and the forsaking of false teaching is the path to being reinstated in God’s army. Stop with those stupid proclamations and declarations that sprout from the imaginings of your own heart!
Eze 7:15 The sword is without (outside), and the pestilence (deh-ber – murrain, plague) and the famine (raw-awb – hunger, dearth) within (in the house): he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine (raw-awb) and pestilence (deh-ber) shall devour (aw-kal – eat, burn, consume) him.
Remember the big three? Those three horsemen, whom God has already referred to several times as his main instruments of retribution? The sword is for those who are outside of the siege walls of Jerusalem. Those who think they are safe inside will be killed by hunger and disease.
Eze 7:16 But they that escape (paw-lat – slip out) of them shall escape (paw-leet – refugee, fugitive), and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning (haw-maw – make a loud clamor, be in an uproar), every one (eesh) for his iniquity (aw-vone).
The true remnant shall take up their responsibility of intercession. Intercession is birthed and stirred up when the reality of sin dawns upon one’s soul. Here it is said that those very few who do manage to escape all of God’s instruments of destruction shall become as refugees. God may be referring to those who would be carried away to Babylon, and compares them to lonesome doves found here and there in the mountains. The more likely sense is that God is referring to those few who do manage to actually escape capture and flee to some nearby mountain to hide. These souls, once they have had a moment to reflect, will grieve for their own sin, first and foremost.
Proper intercession and true repentance always focuses on one’s own self first. This may seem paradoxical, as aren’t we supposed to focus on others first, and ourselves last? Not when it comes to sin. We are always to focus on our own sin before we even think of focusing on the sins of others.
Remember Daniel, that especially righteous man of God?
Dan 9:5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
If anyone could excuse himself as having not sinned, it would have been Daniel. But here, when he intercedes for Judah, he includes himself as being sinful and rebellious, along with the rest of the people of the nation. What a great attitude to have! Sort of the opposite of the pride and arrogance of the Copelands of the world, is it not? Shamefully, when I was very young in the Lord in the 80’s, I used to follow him, and think he was the most wonderful man of God! It took a decade of deprogramming to be free from all that degenerate word of faith heresy. The lesson is to run away from any gospel that smacks of self and narcissism, otherwise you will find it far harder to leave than if you had never embraced it in the first place.
Eze 7:17 All hands shall be feeble (raw-faw – slack, stilled, weak), and all knees shall be weak as water.
Oh you people of the Laodicean generation, your prayers of pride and arrogance will have no power. You will pray and pray, and nothing shall come to pass. You will be told that you just need more faith, but it will not work. It will never work. Only God gives us strength, and he only strengthens those who are truly his, those who are walking with him daily (not occasionally).
Eze 7:18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror (paw-law-tsooth – fearfulness, trembling) shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
Eventually the evil will cause even the most brain dead believer in the power of positive thinking to realize what is really going on. Where it says that shame will cover their faces, I see a reference to the stupid masks everyone wore during covid. Only the most unspiritual, low IQ, programmed and propagandized, brain dead individual would eagerly embrace the wearing of the face diaper at any and every opportunity, especially after the so called ‘scamdemic’ ended years ago! Nothing tempts me to irritation more than seeing someone, today in 2025, still wearing their face diaper when out in public. What I cannot grasp is how that person is even alive, as anyone who is dumb enough to permanently affix one of those prime locales of bacterial breeding onto their faces, can even remember how to walk and breathe at the same time? If one’s brain has told them that permanent face masks are critical to their survival, then how are they retaining the knowledge of how to breathe in, then breathe out, as that task would seem beyond their intellectual capability!
But getting back to the seriousness of the passage, Yahweh is informing us that the survivors of this unique horror that he is about to unleash will be permanently affected. They will most likely never feel like rejoicing and making merry ever again, thus the reference to the wearing of sackcloth. Have we not met people who have suffered such a devastating loss, perhaps the loss of a young child, who have never smiled again, even after many years? So it shall be with this remnant.
Besides that, they will be engulfed in a total state of fear. Fear and horror and constant trembling shall be their fare. They will not have the will to go out in public, and face anyone. They know that everyone shall mark them as those who suffered an unbelievably excessive dose of wrath from their god. They will be looked down upon, as a particular source of jeering and contempt. If their god saw fit to punish them to such an extreme extent, then they certainly must have been worthy of such treatment, were they not? Therefore, it is fit that we consider them to be beneath us in every way.
Hasn’t that been the unofficial theological stance of many in the body of Christ over the centuries concerning the Jew? After all, they rationalize, they killed their own Messiah, and God judged them by tearing down their temple once and for all, and scattering them to the four winds for almost 2000 years. Obviously God has abandoned them, so why should we care what happens to them, or how we treat them? And thus, antisemitism is born and justified by theology.
Baldness upon their heads would be a traditional sign of mourning in their culture. Today, we would wear black, perhaps something like a black veil, or a black armband.
Eze 7:19 They shall cast (shaw-lak – throw out, hurl) their silver in the streets (khoots – outside), and their gold shall be removed (nid-daw – rejected, impure, set apart as unclean): their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver (preserve, rescue) them in the day of the wrath (eb-raw – outburst of passion, rage) of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls (nephesh), neither fill their bowels (figuratively the heart): because it is the stumblingblock (mik-shole – obstacle, enticement, idol, offence) of their iniquity (aw-vone).
The original sense in the context of the passage would refer to an army or a people fleeing from their enemy. Their most precious possessions would be flung aside, being an impediment to their escape. When your very life is on the line, all your material wealth is of no value. The second aspect of this is that this verse says their gold would be regarded as unclean. This is probably a reference to the fact that they had used their silver and their gold to make detestable idols. Now that the Babylonians are closing in, and no deliverance is forthcoming from these idols, they would have cast them into the streets, because of how utterly worthless the worship of them really were. These idols did not deliver, but rather were the cause of them stumbling into total judgment by the one true God. Ultimately, any false god will not only disappoint, but will devastate, and totally destroy. Your soul will always be left unsatisfied, whenever you pursue anything other than God. Their heart hunger cannot be filled by idols. Only Yehovah can fill the hungry heart.
One can see the similarity in this verse from Isaiah:
Isa 31:7 For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.
Here the reference to idols is clear. Since we have seen God use repetition frequently within Ezekiel, it should come as no surprise that similar phrasing may be found between prophets as well. Even though Isaiah was written over 100 years earlier, the same sins are still prevalent in the land of Israel.
Of course many of you may see a strong reference to the preppers and the hoarders of today. Right now, those who purchased gold and silver a year ago are probably sitting in their vault with a smug look on their face, as the prices of these commodities have risen at a greater rate than at any time in the last several decades. The long awaited for surge in precious metals is finally coming to pass. As a side note, I was reading numerous articles written by the ‘gold bugs’ in the 1990’s, who all claimed that gold was poised to double, triple, and go stratospherically higher at any moment! There have been times when one had to wait many years for gold to rise at all. It earns no interest. You must safeguard it, or pay someone else to do so. In any event, only during certain small windows in history (such as right now) can one really make a profit in precious metals.
The point of this verse is that silver and gold represent material wealth. They did not have paper money in those days, gold and silver was their money. While one can rightly argue that paper money is not real money at all, the point of this verse is that when God decides to drop the hammer, no matter what you place your money in, it will not save you. So, for all those who have bought silver and gold and think that they are somehow shielded when the economic collapse inevitably happens, think again. While precious metals themselves may be useful as a temporary preserver of real wealth, do not for one moment think that you will be able to ride out the storm when God decides to destroy your land. If the land is poisoned with chemtrails, or burnt to ash with DEW weapons, what good will gold do you? If your food is contaminated with deadly mRNA, or all the meat in the land is culled due to fake bird flu, what shall you buy with your gold? Shall you prepare it for supper?
While gold has its uses, do not look to anything in the natural to save you, when God becomes angry. It is like the elite in the book of Revelation, who have hidden in their expensive bug out shelters, crying to the mountain to hide them from the wrath of the lamb.
There is no hiding from the wrathful lamb.
Eze 7:20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty (gaw-ohn – arrogancy, pomp, swelling): but they made the images of their abominations (to-ay-baw) and of their detestable things (shik-koots – digusting abominable filth) therein: therefore have I set (give, put) it far (nid-daw) from them.
The ornament could refer to a headpiece, such as the crown of a king. They may have set up their king with all the pomp and pageantry possible, but because they were devoted to their detestable idols, God has sent the kingship and the autonomy that it implies far away. The last part of the verse carries the implication of God setting something aside very far away, because of how abominably unclean it is.
Others believe that their ornament is referring to the temple, a place of beauty and pride. Because their kings had defiled it with their disgusting images and idols, God will remove them far away from it, which was fulfilled by the sending away of the survivors to Babylon.
Eze 7:21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers (zoor – profane foreigner) for a prey (baz – plunder), and to the wicked (raw-shaw) of the earth for a spoil (shaw-lawl – booty); and they shall pollute (khaw-lal – profane, defile) it.
This verse seems to confirm the interpretation that the previous verse was most likely referring to the temple, as ‘it’ would be given to the profane foreigner (the Babylonian). Since Babylon represents the world system that is opposed to the things of God, this is a most shocking verse. In effect, God is saying that the place where my presence was most likely to be found, I will give it away to my (and your) worst enemy. Since you have chosen to profane it in such an unbelievably abominable way, I might as well give it to someone who loves such a defiled place. Other commentators speculate that ‘it’ refers to all the people in general, who would be defiled and profaned by the invaders.
Could this also refer to the jab that was embraced by so many lukewarm believers? Our bodies are supposed to be the new temple of God. What God saw in our apostasies and abominable doctrines of demons in the past several decades caused him to give many over to the lie of covid. People actually thought that the jab was a blessing from God! A global bioweapon, whose main purpose was depopulation and genocide, and the vast majority of those who called themselves Christian couldn’t wait to inject themselves, and their little children, with this demonic concoction of sorcery. Thus the temple of God, ie, our bodies, were given into the hands of the wicked to plunder, to spoil, to profane, and to defile.
Is it not amazing that God would give our material blessings to the wicked, just because he must punish his own children if they rebel? I present to you the real doctrine of wealth transfer. The wealth of the sinner is not laid up for the just, at least never for the lukewarm church. But rather, the doctrine is turned around on its head. The wealth of the believer is laid up for the wicked, should the believer stop believing, and in his heart make his residence in Babylon instead of in Zion.
Eze 7:22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute (khaw-lal) my secret (tsaw-fan – to hide, hoard, or reserve, lay up) place: for the robbers (per-eets – tyrants, violent destroyers) shall enter into it, and defile (khaw-lal) it.
Speaking in reference to the secret place, Matthew Poole’s commentary presents these various possibilities:
1. My enclosed land of Judea. Or,
2. My city Jerusalem. Or,
3. The temple. And,
4. The holy of holies: all which the Babylonian conquerors trampled under their conquering feet. The robbers; the soldiers, who in truth robbed the temple and here have their true style given them, are robbers that used the temple and its consecrated gifts without any reverence or respect. They should break all open, and rush into the places which Jews, Levites, and priests might not enter.
Since the word ‘place’ is in italics, it is not part of the original text, though it is likely that is what is implied. However, many words have been added to flesh out the meaning of the relatively few Hebrew words used. The literal translation could go something like this: ‘My face I removed, they defiled themselves in secret, violent tyrants come to pollute’.
However, the most likely sense is a reference to the holy of holies, which was certainly the most secret place in the land. Today, our bodies are the true temple, and the robbers of God’s presence in our lives have come and coerced and deceived many to defile their sanctuaries with DNA altering death jabs. Another nuance may be a reference to allowing false prophets to come into your innermost sanctum, ie, your heart, and embrace erroneous teachings that defile you within.
Note that this is all made possible by Yahweh turning his face away from us. The face (paw-neem) is used over and over in scripture. When God turns his face away from you, you’ve had it!
Eze 7:23 Make a chain (from a root meaning to bind): for the land is full of bloody (dawm – blood) crimes (mishpat – verdict, sentence, decree, but also can mean an act itself), and the city is full of violence (khah-mawce – unjust gain, oppression, wrong dealing).
The normal meaning of mishpat is God’s righteous decree or judgment, or sentence passed upon sin, whether an individual, group, nation, or planet. In this case, this is where an alternate meaning of the word is implied, in that it is the act itself that was chosen by someone. Specifically, it is the bloody acts of the people that God is pointing out. The land is full of these bloody acts, or choices. In a sense, these choices are the mishpats of the citizens. Their verdict was to continually go and do something bloody, or murderous. Sounds a lot like the decisions our deranged governments are engaging in today. I think of the extremely insane Canadian government’s desire to murder those hundreds of ostriches. Two dead carcasses tested positive for the avian flu by the fraudulent PCR test back in late 2024. All the other birds were completely healthy and showing zero symptoms of illness. Yet they persisted in desiring to kill all of them. After several months and many lost court battles, the wicked judges are most likely going to allow them to kill these healthy birds, who have been around for decades in a remote area, just because they said so. No one in Canada is allowed to disobey the government in any area anymore. Our government’s mishpat is one of blood, blood, more blood, and only blood. All the time. In every way possible. Kill everything that they can. The old, the young, the animals, the air that we breathe. Kill it all.
God says to make a chain, as symbolic of binding the people to their fate. It also foreshadows the chains that the Babylonians are about to bring, in order to lead the captives away. Since Judah engaged in much unjust shedding of innocent blood, so it would be repaid back in kind.
In late 2025, we see much violence springing forth in America. While the current administration is doing everything possible to combat this lawlessness by every legal means necessary, yet God is allowing these things to occur. Regardless that finally the people have a government that is genuinely trying to put a halt to the rampant criminality in the land, decades upon decades of abortion could be the reason why God is now repaying America with unprecedented bloodshed in return.
Eze 7:24 Wherefore I will bring the worst (rah – evil, wicked, exceedingly great evil) of the heathen (goy – Gentile, foreigners, figuratively a troop of animals or a flight of locusts), and they shall possess (yaw-rash – take possession of, seize) their houses: I will also make the pomp (gaw-ohn – arrogancy, proud swelling) of the strong (az – vehement, greedy, fierce) to cease; and their holy places (mik-dawsh – sanctuaries) shall be defiled (khaw-lal).
Our leaders in the west have allowed the worst of the heathen to enter our lands as illegal immigrants. With the exception of America, the rest of the western nations continue this suicidal practice. The vast majority of these invaders in several countries are muslims, whose vile, demonic religion turns them into the worst of people. They are a satanic death cult. No, not just the extreme minority of them. All of them. The only reason any muslim does not break out in murder and rape is when there are not enough of them in the land. Studies have been done on this phenomenon. Without fail, once the population reaches around 8% Islamic, the country plunges into violence, and does not recover until Islam reigns supreme. It is the very rare exception to the rule that the situation is ever reversed. Spain was one of the very few to regain their Christian identity, but it took centuries of war to break free of the scourge of Islam. But today, they are voluntarily throwing their hard fought freedom away with unrestrained illegal immigration, as is almost all of the west.
Times of great apostasy bring the worst judgments of God. Note that Yahweh is the one who is bringing the worst of the heathen to our once peaceful and prosperous lands. Why didn’t the muslim or the Chinese communist invade before now? Because God would not allow it. First, the church starts teaching false doctrines, or doctrines of demons. As the people drift away from the truth, God pleads with them to repent. As they continue to refuse, God starts to chastise, then punish. Finally, with no real movement back to the true faith, God stops pleading, and starts smiting. As we continue to harden our hearts and stiffen our necks, he moves into total judgment. Today we have total judgment. Why is it that of all the people we could welcome into our lands, over 90% are the worst of the worst? I know that in Canada over the last 10 years, only 1 or 2 % of the millions brought in were Christians, even though Christians are by far the most persecuted people on the planet, and need protection. No, our wicked Liberal government have flooded our nations with muslims. We are one of the only countries in the entire planet to even take vile Palestinians, which no other muslim countries want, no, not even a single soul! And we wonder why we have violent Israel hating protests in every major city for the last 2 years.
God has brought the worst of the heathen into America under Obama and especially Biden. God continues to pour the worst of the heathen into Canada, as we seem to be permanently blinded into continuing to vote Liberal. I do fear that the numbers in Canada are so dire as to be impossible to recover. America still has a chance. Trump just recently tried to (belatedly) explain to Canadians that he thought we’d be flattered that he would be open to the idea of Canada joining America, the greatest and wealthiest and freest country on the planet. But instead of Canadians becoming excited by the possibility, the globalist Liberals used that to brainwash the stupid Canadians into thinking that only the Liberals could save them from a hostile takeover by this evil Trump, who was acting like Hitler. And sadly, Canadians are now so bereft of any discernment about even the most basic concepts of good and evil, that these satanic people were successful in selling this lie to the nation, even after the 10 worst years of government by the Liberals in Canadian history. For a long time I wept and groaned at the unfathomable stupidity of my fellow citizens. But then I realized that there is nothing to be done here, but pray, as this was the judgment of God on a wicked, murderous, and deeply apostate nation.
At one time Canada was much like America in culture and ethics. Not any more. Unless you want to compare the average Canadian to the average Democrat. Then the similarity still stands.
I like the figurative meaning of goy – a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts. Is there a more apt description of muslims when they invade a civilized nation? They destroy everything they touch, if they haven’t stolen it first. They defecate in our streets, and even on the floors in our public buildings. They rape our women, and our young boys. They care for nothing except the murder of Jews, which they cannot get enough of. They are ugly with their excessive facial hair and their horrible treatment of women. Many are unsanitary, and impossible to integrate into any civilized society. They are hostile to non muslims, and bring nothing but fear and astronomical financial burdens to any nation that allows them entry.
In short, they are the worst of the heathen. And God is the one who brought them to us. Imagine that. Our God, who we’ve been taught is nothing but love, and only love, has done this to us? Why? Because he’s mean? Psychotic? A sadist? Absolutely not. Because we deserve it. Every last one of us. No matter how innocent you think you are, we all have had a part to play to get to the situation where we’re at today. We cannot get this truth drummed into our skulls deeply enough. It must penetrate the lies and garbage that we’ve been fed about ourselves. We are not as wonderful as we think we are. At least not in God’s sight. Otherwise we would not be drowning in the curses of God as we are this day.
Notice once again how God will take the wealth of his people and transfer it into the hands of the wicked. No one can argue that this promise is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. How much has the war on terror cost us? How much debt have we added to pay for the illegal immigrants in our lands? How many trillions have the NGO’s stolen from the American taxpayer? No, forget about God filling your house with gold. He is emptying it.
Pompous, arrogant, and greedy. That is how God describes his people. But surely that does not apply to us, does it? This is why I don’t really read Ezekiel much. It just doesn’t apply to me.
Really? For all you charismatics out there, have you never been to a meeting, where you are coerced to chant after the speaker along the lines of something such as this: ‘We take authority over the prince of the power of America (or Canada). We bind every foul spirit that rules over our land. We are the head and not the tail. All power and authority has been given to me by Jesus. We bind every principality and power in our city. By his stripes we are healed. We are blessed, we are anointed, and we are prosperous in every way. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. We are strong, and not weak’.
And so forth. And so on. Ad nauseam.
Did anyone detect any fear of God, humility, or the fruit of the Holy Spirit in any of that? Do you think the devil is impressed with your false doctrine, your presumption, your pride, and your arrogance? Do you really think that you are the most special people that God has ever created? What has been the main distinguishing feature of the Laodicean church of this last generation in the west? Is it one of humility? Meekness? Gentleness? How about longsuffering and patience? Self sacrifice? Holiness?
No, none of those things. Disgusting, delusional, doctrinally dense, depraved. Those are some of the words that come to mind. Unholy, unrighteous, unscrupulous, unclean. Gossipy, flighty, tossed about here and there by every wind of doctrine. Unstable, unloving, unkind, and unthankful.
Now, of course that does not apply to each and every soul in the body. In every generation God has his remnant, his chosen few that he teaches and preserves, and they willingly respond to him with a whole heart. But what will history say about the western church in the last 50 or so years? Will it be more known for the Mother Teresa’s, or the Jim Bakers? The Charlie Kirk’s, or the Robert Tiltons and Kenneth Copelands? For Billy Graham, or televangelists, mega churches and mega pastors, the prosperity, word of faith, kingdom now, dominionist, and replacement theologies? For genuine revival, or the nonsense of the Toronto blessing, the Brownsville movement, the horrific Rodney Browne led laughing revival? For angel feathers falling out of the sky, or crackers and fake gemstones magically appearing in people’s bibles, teeth being filled with gold, with ‘holy oil’ appearing on false prophet’s palms, and glitter suddenly appearing on the clothes of the wolves in sheep’s clothing? How about all the people pushed to the ground, to make people believe that God is slaying them in the Spirit? And I could go on and on.
Now of course some have genuinely been overwhelmed by the real presence of God. But our era will be known for the prevalence of the false, in comparison to the true. This is the main sign of an apostate church. And that is what brings the wrath of God on his own people.
God finishes the verse by once again reiterating that our holy places will be defiled. We have already spoken about the evil jab. But how about this destruction of our houses of worship? Since covid, under the satanic leadership of Justin Trudeau, who did nothing to discourage the practice, over 500 churches in the nation have been vandalized and/or burnt to the ground. In Europe, they don’t even have to burn down most churches, as they are being closed due to lack of use, and many have been converted to mosques. America has had some of this as well.
These are the things that should come as no surprise, if you understand the true spiritual condition of our lands. Unfortunately, few realize just how far from the true faith that we have fallen. However, as the judgments of Ezekiel and Jeremiah continue to manifest in our own lands, we will have no choice but to face the reality of exactly how God sees us, instead of the lies that we have been continually feeding ourselves.
Eze 7:25 Destruction (kef-aw-dah – a shrinking, terror) cometh; and they shall seek peace (shalom – safety, wellness, health, prosperity, rest), and there shall be none (ay-yin – non existant).
Unlike this possible season of peace that may fall upon Israel here in October 2025, after this historic peace deal led by Trump has been signed by many in the region, the west shall not know peace. And why is that? Because in this age of grace, the church is the main group that God has designated as his people. Have no fear, the Jew has been blinded, but only temporarily. Soon, their eyes shall be opened. But at this moment, the church is to be the light to the world.
But as Judah turned their backs on God and worshipped idols, so the church in the west has gone and done the same thing today. Our idols of money, wealth, comfort, selfishness, social media, internet, entertainments, sports teams, and every other distraction that we have placed ahead of our worship and service to the Almighty. Being lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, how shall we escape the righteous judgment of God, any more than the Judeans escaped at the time of Ezekiel?
Destruction is now our lot. A shrinking is a good description of what is happening. A shrinking of our wealth, our freedom, our options in life. A shrinking of the true word of God. A shrinking of true leadership in the church. A shrinking of the preaching of the truth.
So many think that once the compromises they practiced during covid ran their course, that we are now back to normal. Nothing in our world in 2025 is normal. Do not be fooled by peace treaties here, and agreements over there. While they may provide respite for a season, and serve to blind the lukewarm even further from the truth, nothing shall be permanently repaired until the Prince of Peace returns and takes up his throne.
Eze 7:26 Mischief (ho-vaw – ruin) shall come upon mischief (ho-vaw), and rumour (shem-oo-aw – news, report, tidings) shall be upon rumour (shem-oo-aw); then shall they seek (search out) a vision (khaw-zone – dream, revelation, oracle) of the prophet (naw-bee); but the law (torah) shall perish (aw-bad – fail, be undone, wander away) from the priest, and counsel (ay-tsaw – advice, purpose, prudence) from the ancients.
Have not the globalists stated that we have entered the era of the polycrisis? This is simply another made up word that means that the wicked will be throwing one evil after another upon the people of the planet. All to create chaos and terror, so that they can take total control. In Ezekiel’s day, apparently they were about to experience the same kind of thing. Once they survived one invasion by Babylon, another one was around the corner. This was a time of global political change, as Babylon was replacing Assyria as the new world power. Thus many wars were being fought, alliances were continually shifting. So it is today. Canada is deciding to abandon America and shift towards China. Indeed, it seems that China and Canada are the only 2 countries on the planet stupid enough to defy Trump regarding trade. I don’t think I have to prophesy to tell you how that is going to turn out.
During times of great upheaval, gossip and lies and made up stories rule the day. If Judah had trouble getting real news in their day, how much more today! If you stop and think about it, it is quite unbelievable that in the age of unprecedented access to information with the availability of the internet everywhere in the world, that it is so difficult to find the truth about anything. The devil has taken great advantage of this technology. He knew the truth could be disseminated everywhere, so what did he do? He flooded the net with ten thousand lies for every truth. Just try and find out the truth about what is truly happening on the ground in the Ukraine war, for example. You can find ten thousand ‘experts’, who confidently spew this or that. But they are all guessing, or lying. There is simply no way of knowing what is truly going on – how many are actually dying on each side, how well each side is doing, and what the future holds. While Biden was in charge, any and every wicked thing was promulgated by our side. I have now learned to reserve judgment even on this topic, now that Trump is in charge. By his actions, he has proven himself to be a man of good will, trying his best to do the right thing. He has access to information that none of us do, nor do any of the podcasters. If God wants this final conflict resolved, then he will give Trump the wisdom to do so. The point is, we are not to be sucked into falling for every rumor and sensational headline, as most people have ulterior motives when they report what they report.
I shudder when I read the so called ‘prophecies’ that are listed on some of the prophecy websites. While a few have at least some truth, and a very few seem spot on in my own judgment and discernment, based on a lifetime of bible study, but most of them are at best, nonsense, and at worst, heretical teachings given by people who are either genuinely ignorant of what they are doing, or fully aware, and committed to continuing in order to maintain and preserve their ‘ministry’.
And why do websites such as these continue? Because of the number of people who continue to support them. I find that many people are more impressed with someone who says that they have had a dream, or a vision, than someone who has been given an inspired interpretation of scripture. Scripture study is boring, they say in their hearts, but dreams and visions, that is spectacular and flashy, so let us run after that! And yet so many of these postings contain nothing biblical, nothing that witnesses to a true child of God’s heart, but rather is usually a rehashing of some favorite pet doctrine of theirs. Often several prophecies are similar to each other, as if they are borrowing from one another, as Jeremiah informs us:
Jer_23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
In the bible, false prophets outnumber the true by hundreds to one. While there are no shortage of false prophets and teachers on the net today, have you noticed how hard it is to find someone who preaches the uncompromised word of the Lord online? I personally only know of one man on the internet whom I consider to be worth listening to on a consistent basis. That does not mean that there are no others, only that the Lord has led me to only one at this time. Several others whom I have listened to over the years do not preach the same anymore. Not that they have all fallen into error, but that their messages do not have the same anointing and convicting power anymore. They do not preach the things that really matter, as they once used to.
I do not know if AI is finding and censoring some of it, but I think it is simply because God has called for a famine of the word of the Lord:
Amo_8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
What is the main reason for this famine of a lack of a genuine, fresh, and totally convicting word of the Lord? Because the law (torah) has perished from the priest. In other words, no one is teaching the commandments of God in the church. Church leaders have compromised the biblical doctrine.
For a New Testament believer, Torah should primarily evoke images of the moral law contained in the Pentateuch. For those who think all of the Torah has been fulfilled by Christ (and not just the ceremonial, or ritual law), then if something is not prohibited in the New Testament, it should be okay to do, even if the Torah prohibited it, right? Well, what about something like this?
Lev 18:23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
Since the NT doesn’t prohibit sex with animals, does that mean it’s okay? Of course not. God’s moral law is eternal. It never changes. That goes for homosexuality, fornication of all kinds, transgenderism, abortion, and any and every sort of sexual act outside the marriage bed. Paul did not feel the need to reiterate every kind of sin, since the Torah already covered so many.
I speak of this to prove that any preacher who attempts to do away with any part of the moral law of the entire bible is teaching heresy. He is not misinformed, it is not a difference of opinion, he is a heretic and an apostate.
God has this unchangeable principle in his word. To those who have much, more will be given. To those who have not, even what they have will be taken away from them.
Mat_13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Thus the more and more you compromise the word, the further you will stray into apostasy. If you refuse the light that is already given in the word of God, then whatever you once knew and believed will also be taken away from you eventually.
Have you ever noticed that once a church slides into compromise, in almost all cases they go from bad to worse? Very few come back to truth.
So this is why a genuine prophetic word from the Lord is so rare today. Abandon some of the word, refuse to believe and obey some portion, and God will take away even the portion that you do currently have.
So it is with sound counsel. Try and find a mature believer in your congregation who will tell you the heart of the Lord when you go to them for help. If it’s a pastor, they will, more often than not, tell you what you want to hear. They are focused on growing the donor base, increasing attendance, and keeping everyone entertained. Telling you some hard thing is not on the menu. Similarly, how many of you went to a friend, hoping to hear them tell you that what you have already decided in your heart is God’s will, only to abandon them when they counselled you from the scriptures? Then you ran around until you found a ‘friend’ who agreed and encouraged you in your rebellion and disobedience to God’s word. And we wonder why we are always defeated in our faith walk.
This verse says that after the worst of the heathen have come, and the strong ones are now weak, and your holy places are now defiled, and destruction has come, and peace cannot be found, woe upon woe is happening, and fake news upon fake news is heard, then, and only then, shall they seek some word from God. But God says by that point all truth has perished from the land, so guess what? The chances of you hearing something genuine from the Lord at that point in time is slim indeed.
This is why it is so critical to repent while there is still time. Repent while God is still tugging at your heart. Do not just mentally assent to the idea, but repent in deed. Change your path. Alter your course of life. Make that hard choice to go all the way with Jesus! You will never regret it, should you make the decision properly, in all sincerity and without any guile.
Eze 7:27 The king shall mourn (aw-bal), and the prince shall be clothed with desolation (shem-aw-maw – devastation, astonishment), and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled (baw-hal – trembled, alarmed, agitated): I will do unto them after their way (deh-rek), and according to their deserts (mishpat) will I judge (shawfat) them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Your true leaders shall be as devastated as the common man. Besides Trump and his team, who are attempting to restore a proper government in America, this verse would not apply to everyone else. Why? Because all our leaders are intentionally trying to destroy us, and our nations. They are all traitors and most are satanists. Before this era of total depravity, most of our leaders were simply greedy, phony hypocrites, which was bad enough. But they were not treasonous, in the sense of being part of a global plan to usher in a one world totalitarian dystopia, where every soul becomes their eternal slave, if you are allowed to live at all. No, today we are living through something completely different. As our countries burn, our leaders do not mourn or are astonished, as they are the ones who are doing the burning! America, so many of you have absolutely no idea how blessed you are at this specific moment in time. While I am convinced that this moment will not last very long, as your sins are long overdue a just reckoning, please support the men of good will and hold up their hands as long as possible! I think of the words of king Hezekiah, who was a realist, when he heard the prophecy that God would delay his judgment while he yet lived:
2Ki_20:19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?
Do you not think that we true Canadians would give almost anything to have peace and truth in our days? Be grateful America, and know that the rest of the world is green with envy that you have leaders that are actually trying to help you in so many different ways, rather than kill you. Have you already forgotten what Obama and Biden did to you? Would you rather have Kamala calling the shots? Even though we all have witnessed a brain dead man who shook hands with his invisible friend in public many times, my brain simply cannot imagine a Kamala running America. In fact, I can’t even imagine Kamala operating Kamala without a lot of help.
Are the people of the land troubled? I think so. But why have we found ourselves in this state? One last time, God reminds us that we are simply reaping what we sowed. We judged (mishpat) that practising and protecting and celebrating wickedness, of the most vile and blasphemous nature, was the deh-rek, or path, that we should take. So God has decided (decreed) that we should experience wickedness and defilement in full measure in return. And God’s righteous retribution is supposed to reveal that God is God.
So my question is: As judgment falls, is God being revealed? Some would say no, as many in the church refuse to acknowledge that anything bad comes from God, no matter what. I remember how David Wilkerson was roundly condemned after 9/11 for suggesting that it was the judgment of God that the towers fell. 99% of the church vehemently denied that God did it. He was mocked and vilified. But he was right.
But outside of organized religion, as always, let the word of God be found true, and every man a liar. I believe that a God consciousness is being restored in the land. At least in America. The attempted assassination of president Trump, and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, has caused a public discussion of God and the gospel such as I have never witnessed in my lifetime. I have already spoken about the 3 days of miracles following Charlie Kirk’s death in one of my prophecies. For example, government cabinet members giving a clear public presentation of the gospel to the world is absolutely unprecedented. Other amazing truths are being spoken in the open for the first time in history. At least in America, people are freely speaking about their Christian heritage, and the need for a return to a biblical foundation. What will become of it remains to be seen. Judah did not heed these warnings, though God spoke 50 times through this zealous man of God. We shall have to wait and see how it will all turn out in our case.
