Differences in Who We Are

Each of my children are different in many ways.  I made each child different with varying characteristics.  But each of my children were made with an ability to recognize sin and the ability to turn from it.

It is their choice when they decide to “protect” that sin and keep it close to their heart.  For sins block the ability to get closer to righteousness, which in turn circumvents their progress into my Kingdom.  Sins are driven by the flesh and operate in Me, Myself and I mentality.  If my children were not so self-absorbed, they would see past themselves.

Selfishness is at the root of sin.  When one gives up their crutches in life, they have the ability to see more clearly.  They now can attack the problem head on.

First steps can be made through repentance, prayer and following thru.  But not all will make that first step, not all will be able to get out of self.  Self and selfishness are the internal battle you must overcome, to make it into my Kingdom.
