Kenya 🇰🇪

On 20/8/25, together with two other family members, I attended an annual convention known as the East Africa Revival Convention. The gathering included many elderly and youthful people. We simply wanted to reconnect with the Christian roots of our family. (My grandparents from both sides were among the many first fruits of this revival. It began in Uganda during the colonial era and spread rapidly to Kenya and Tanzania.)

Towards the end of the meeting, the oldest person present was requested to close with the final prayers. I knew this man—he had been my late grandpa’s best friend and was now a century old. I was amazed that he could climb the five steps to the podium without assistance, and he was very eloquent in his prayers. He wore a hearing aid, and to me that was something to thank the Lord for.

When we reached home, we found ourselves in darkness and had emergency tasks to do until 9 p.m. Worn out and tired, I went to bed, fell fast asleep, and was caught up in two dreams.

Dream 1: 21/8/25 at 5:00 a.m.

I was with some gentlemen inside a building. Then I walked outside with another man whom I knew in the dream was a Christian. Suddenly, I was shocked to see the entire city plunged into darkness, even though it was daytime. It felt like late morning or just before noon.

Although it was dark, I could still see ahead—it wasn’t pitch black. In a soft tone, I asked him:

“Have you ever heard about the three days of darkness that will soon engulf the entire Earth?”

(I was gauging his knowledge on End-Time matters.)

He answered in the affirmative—“Yes”—but didn’t share much more information.

According to our conversation, it seemed that what is coming to Nairobi, and Kenya at large, will precede the Three Days of Darkness (the next great event).

Someone I know had been denying the possibility of the Three Days of Darkness for a long time. Recently, however, he told me he now believes after watching a video on the same topic on The Master’s Voice blog. I was happy he finally acknowledged this phenomenon.

Dream 2: 21/8/25 at 6:40 a.m.

When I came out of the first dream, I entered another scene in the city. I found myself in the vicinity of my former workplace. Suddenly, a serious war broke out between two forces, and all hell broke loose—a scenario of every man and woman for themselves.

I ran as fast as I could for safety in the ensuing chaos. I managed to slip into a building compound just before the guards closed the gate. I was sweating as if I had jumped into a pool with my clothes still on. (This describes the severity of what is coming.)

I was relieved to be with others inside that place.

One of the speakers yesterday at the meeting had caught my attention. He remarked:

“If you are a watchman and you see something coming and you raise the alarm, you have done your duty.”

He mentioned other offices too, but I didn’t realize then that the Lord would speak again. That was prophetic, especially since such teachings are rarely mentioned in gatherings of this nature. Have we not been warned in the last two days?

Scriptures

Psalm 27:3
Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear.
Though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident.

Psalm 27:5
For He will hide me in His shelter
in the day of trouble.

Psalm 55:5–8
Fear and trembling come upon me,
and horror overwhelms me.
And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest.
Yes, I would wander far away;
I would lodge in the wilderness.
I would hurry to find a shelter
from the raging wind and tempest.”

Also read Psalm 121 and Psalm 91.

Unless the Lord watches over a city, the watchman watches in vain.
