Darkness Descends Upon New York City

I dreamed that I was in New York. I was shopping at a small store owned by a man and a woman. My items totaled about $7.50–$8.00. I handed the woman a $10 bill and waited for my change, but she simply shook her head, as if she did not have change or was unwilling to give it to me. I did not worry about it and left the store.

I forgot some of the in-between details of the dream. Next, I found myself in a large private high school or university-type setting. I went out for a run. As I continued along my usual path, the sky grew dark and turned into night.

Eventually, I had to stop because my path was blocked by water, as though a lake had suddenly appeared. I could have run above it on a rocky area, but I noticed many criminals there and decided to turn back instead. As I did, I realized the criminals were following me. I began to run faster, and then I woke up.

Upon waking and reflecting on the store scene, I understood it to represent Christian persecution. Darkness is descending upon New York. Crime, which is already high, will increase, and natural disasters will come.

I recommend that Christians and others pray about moving out of the city. Pray for the salvation of the people of New York.
