Come Unto Me As A Little Child

Greetings in the name of Jesus to all the Saints of God. Today (Sat.5/18/24) after lunch, I laid back in my recliner and took a brief little nap for maybe 35 or 40 minutes. As I awakened, still having my eyes closed and just relaxing, my mind came under a sudden demonic attack from hell, with vile thoughts of wickedness entering my mind. I immediately cried out to God to take those thoughts away, and asked the Lord for forgiveness for those thoughts even entering my mind.

Very shortly after this, as I was still just laying there with both eyes closed, I had a flash vision of myself in a photograph at the age of 4 or 5 years old. What is strange is that I had never seen this photograph of myself before in my entire life. In fact…. it does not even exist! (maybe it was one of the Lords personal photographs of me!)

After this brief vision of myself occurred, I started to ask the Lord: “Lord…what exactly does this mean?” But before I had even finished asking the question, the Lord interrupted me and spoke: “IN ORDER TO RECEIVE MY GRACE AND MERCY, YOU MUST COME UNTO ME AS A LITTLE CHILD” What I firmly believe the Lord was revealing to me is about coming to Him with the simple faith of a little one, believing that we will receive that in which we are in need of when seeking Him in prayer. Heb. 4:16 says: “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

In regard to little children, in Luke 18:16-17 Jesus says: “Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” In Mat. 18:3-4 Jesus says: “Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

As the days of tribulation grow darker, and more evil than ever before, EVERY ONE OF US MUST SEE OURSELVES AS LITTLE CHILDREN, COMPLETELY, UTTERLY, AND TOTALLY DEPENDENT ON THE TENDER MERCIES AND PROVISION OF OUR LOVING ALL-SUFFICIENT HEAVENLY FATHER.

Those of us who are truly God’s children… saved by his grace, must humbly confess to him (no matter our social, racial, or economic status) that we are truly as helpless as a newborn baby in a crib, left upon a sand dune out in the middle of the Sahara Desert. A little baby in that kind of environment would not last but a few minutes without proper tender care. Guess what? Both you and I are that baby. John 15:5 says: “For without me ye can do nothing”

It’s one thing to READ that word, (John 15:5) but it’s another thing to KNOW it. If you have not come to that realization yet… of your own utter helplessness without God, I pray that today you would humble yourself as a little child, and make peace with the Lord while you still can. God is exceedingly pleased when we humble ourselves as little children, and depend upon him for all of our needs. We all might as well admit it, and get it over with….we are all big babies in total need of God! We have no other hope in this world, and there is no other hope in this world. May the Lord bless you with this word. Come soon Lord Jesus! Maranatha!
