On 10/12/2025 at 10:49am, I received a vision of the phrase “by the Book”. The “B” in the word “Book” was capitalized. When I inquired of the Lord, I received the following Word from Him:

By the Book, you shall know Me.

By the Book, you shall find Me.

By the Book, you are washed in the water of the Word.

By the Book, you are sanctified.

By the Book, My Word will not return void unto Me.

By the Book, you are convicted of sin.

By the Book, the reins of the heart are tried and the intents thereof are purified.

By the Book, you are called to righteousness and obedience.

By the Book, the enemy flees.

By the Book, deception is discerned.

By the Book, Light shines in the darkness.

By the Book, a lamp shines unto your feet and a light unto your path.

By the Book, the power of Heaven is accessed.

By the Book, your thirst is quenched and your hunger satisfied.

By the Book, you must stand in faith.

By the Book, My Word shall be hid in your heart that you might not sin against Me.

By the Book, many choose to close their ears to Me.

By the Book, many choose to turn their backs on Me.

By the Book, Truth once discarded will soon no longer be found.

But by the Book, Truth is known.

I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

You will know Me and what is required of you in this time, if you go by the Book.

By the Book, seek Me while I may still be found; for a famine soon comes for it.

Insights

The Book mentioned in this context is in reference to the Holy Bible, also known as the “Good Book”.

The Biblical meaning of the idiom “by the book” is to act according to the rules and moral principles of the Bible, with early uses referring to the swearing of oaths on the Bible to signify truthfulness, like in courts of law in modern times.

Biblically living “by the Book” means to make the Bible the ultimate guide for one’s life by aligning actions, values, and decisions with its teachings. It involves a deep, intentional study of the scriptures and a commitment to following Jesus’s instructions, which naturally leads to a life that demonstrates obedience and genuine faith that pleases God.

God desires us to live “by the Book” and He is reminding us what it says. How can we know Him and live in obedience to Him, if we do not read it? If we do not know it? Additionally, we are warned in this Word to read it, study it, memorize it, and to store it up within our very being.

John 8:31-32:

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

2 Timothy 3:16:

All scripture is given by the inspiration of god, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

A time comes when people shall seek the Word of God and they shall no longer find it. He is warning us to not squander time outside of His Word, because that day is soon approaching.
Amos 8:11-12:

11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.

Will God’s Word be found in our hearts and minds when it is removed from the land?
