Handmaid of the Most High
Several months ago, I had a vision where I saw a map of North and South America and as I looked I saw a huge explosion occur. I believe this was area was in the same latitude of Bolivia or Paraguay but not along the actual border area of either of these two nations. I believe it is W or SW of Brasilia.
I wasn’t sure if this explosion was a result of an attack or some natural disaster. At first, I wondered if Russia or some other large country attacked them with a nuke but that didn’t “land”. Then my impression was that it was a dormant volcano, however when I did a little digging, there are 5 areas where volcanos exist, none have been active in recorded history. However, I was lead to look up mining and what I learned was surprising. Brazil has many mines throughout the country. Besides her multiple gemstones which are highly regarded for their colors, they mine important metals. In fact, Brazil has many gold mines, along with highly utilized ores: copper, iron, manganese, tin, aluminum, bauxite, titanium, nickel, niobium and more! Additionally, they are actually the second largest exporter of several of these listed. With nearly 9,000 active mines. Brazil’s mining is a major source of income, Brazil’s mining industry exports earnings are over 32 billion annually when using “U.S. dollar equivalent”. Mining is critical to Brazil’s overall economy and they have much more metals still available to excavate. Certain types of mining rely on dynamite to access manageable quantities. Though I am not completely certain, I do believe what the Holy Spirit is an explosion of one mine or possibly multiple ones occurring as a chain reaction.
I had intended to post this after I saw it but life got in the way and then I forgot. I didn’t remember this until brother Isaac Alvarado posted his dream of 6/25/25 titled “Brazil”.
As I prepared this, I was directed to read
Deuteronomy 33:15-39,43

But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. [16] They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. [17] They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. [18] Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. [39] See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. [43] Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
As I read this, I realized part of the reason Brazil will have this great judgement is because they were the primary country in S. America who imported slaves from Africa to do the mining and agriculture. In fact, Brazil is believed to have imported more Africans for slavery than any other country in N., C., and S. America, the total around 4 million! The average slave lived only two years after arrival. They were barely fed and their conditions deplorable with their owners preferring to import replacements rather than care for their needs. Brazil was the last country to ban slavery in 1888. It is believed that 40% of the transatlantic slave trade was designated for Brazil. Even today, black Brazilians are treated differently. When I was in college, many years ago, I was talking to a peer, who was from S. America. It came up that even though he had very dark skin, he was not treated as black because his black hair was straight. That is how S. American’s determined who was of what origin. About 12 years ago, I dated a man from Argentina and I ended our relationship for several reasons, one of which was very ugly racist comments he made. He abhorred sunshine wearing a hat, pants, gloves and long sleeves in the hot summer. I prayed about this and the Holy Spirit revealed that he had African heritage, so I confronted him. He acknowledged that he had a grandmother of African descent. I asked him how could he be so racist, if this was the case? He had no answer.
The other point the Holy Spirit made was about the religious preferences of Brazil, while the majority are Catholic. There are elements of spiritism and animism within. Brazil is has the most Catholics of any nation in the world, 86% of the population to be precise or 182 million. Although numbers vary depending on source. People all over the world come to see the statue of Christ (known as Christ the Redeemer) standing over Rio De Janeiro marveling at its size (98 feet high) and design. It is a vain worship to God. For Rio is known as a playland like Las Vegas is in the U.S. The Holy Spirit reminded me of my own participation in Carnival back in 1983, when I was sent by the I llum min naughty to be part of the celebration that ended in multiple human sacrifices. Carnival is “sold to the masses” as the final night of revelry and decadence before Ash Wednesday, which marks 40 days of Lent, which many Christians spend extra time in reflection and abstinence preceding Good Friday. Then, I heard in my spirit “In vain they worship me”, Matthew 15:8.
So while Brazil is not Babylon the Great, she has done many of the same abominations as the U.S. has and thus judgment will be swift and harsh according to the Holy Spirit.
