As I watched the horrific displays of the injured and dead in Gaza, I wanted to weep. Tears fell as I saw multiple women holding their dead children, infants to be specific in a white sheets. Hearts so incredibly broken as they agonized over their loss. I asked the Lord to speak, here is what He said –
America, some of your leaders and even your King, crow as they celebrate the deaths of many. They have no heart for others, who are captives to the region. They tell you to celebrate these “victories”, they call these people, godless and soulless.
Do you think I do not love them? Nay, I love each and everyone to whom I give breath to. Each is a possibility. Each is valuable. Each is unique. They may not look like you. They may not speak as you do. But they eat and drink as you do. They are not any less valuable because they do not look or sound like you. For each determines in their own heart whom they will love and whom they will serve. They have choices to make no different than you. Will they love the one who gave them life? Will they serve the one, who forgives all sin? This is a choice too. Just because they will never visit you and share their hopes and dreams, doesn’t mean that they are not accepted in the beloved. For I speak to man in all walks, all tongues, all nations. I do not decide to discard someone just because of their geography. I want to know each one, just as I do you.
Next time you celebrate the destruction of someone, remember, they may have a lot more in common with you than you know. They love their families. They love in the same manner as you, so watch your heart beloved. I desire you to make peace with all men. Not just the ones whom you have determined is worthy.
~Handmaid of the Most High~ Acts 2:18
John 3:16-17 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 13:34 KJV
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 15:14 KJV
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
1 John 3:16,18 KJV
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. [18] My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
1 John 4:11 KJV
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
Matthew 10:29-31 NKJV
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. [30] But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. [31] Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Romans 12:18 NASB
If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
