In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit took me to the house of a woman and her children in the countryside. The Holy Spirit placed me inside the woman’s point of view, so I could not see her appearance or age. Her husband was not living in the house at this time, and she had several young children to care for who may have been her grandchildren.

This woman was busy doing many chores and cooking, not only for the children but also for two “guests” housed in one of the bedrooms upstairs. These men were Russian soldiers, who mostly kept to themselves when they were in the house. The woman had finished baking a carrot cake, and called the children to carry two plates with pieces of cake up to the soldiers. The men were not the typical young age of most soldiers. In fact, one of them was in advanced middle age and could have been a grandfather.

To the side of the living room lay another narrow room, where I saw a black horse lying down with its legs in the air! The first time I saw the horse, it really looked like a horse and nothing else. The second time I walked past the horse, it looked like it was half horse and half a young woman, sick and distressed.

When I awoke from this dream vision, I knew that one day in the future, some American households would have to quarter Russian soldiers. I knew that the house in the dream was American because the woman was serving a typical American cake, carrot cake. I also saw that America would experience the distress of surrender and famine because of the presence of the distressed dark horse lying on its back with its legs in the air. Carrot cake was first created in England during a time of rationing when sugar was scarce and hard to purchase and carrots were used as a natural sweetener.

Scripture:

Revelation 6:5-6 (NIV)

5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”
