A Note For Believers

Recently, I had a dream where I met a famous musician. Her name means “holy, born again, and crown”, so I knew the message was for believers. I saw her tour bus and her security went to sleep on top of the tour bus at noon. Then I became an assistant to her and I was trying to follow her to give her a belt she needed for her performance. At one point in the dream, I wanted to call a friend whose name means wisdom or mediator to tell her I was so lucky to know the musician. At the end of the dream, she gave me her tablet and showed me an email and asked my opinion on it. It spoke of assault victims, but didn’t give any instructions or ask for money or anything. I told her it was fake because of the email address being weird and misspelled words and the like, that it just wanted to play on her emotions. When I gave her the tablet back, I noticed that I had dropped my water bottle and keys I was holding. I picked up the bottle, but my keys were in a far corner of the room and I had forgotten how many I had. The musician went to pick them up for me and give them back.

The interpretation of the dream is that believers need to stay awake and sober, paying attention to the times, keeping up spiritual warfare against the evil of the world. Christians need to put on the belt of truth, bringing God’s truth into a world full of deception. Believers need to call on Jesus in prayer frequently for everything and to seek wisdom in all things. Also, don’t be distracted by the news and things of the world, but keep your eyes focused on Jesus, the living water, and use the keys He’s given you to conquer evil.

Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘Those things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens.”‘.

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking who he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

Eph 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
