DEVASTATION COMES TO JAMAICA – REPENT NOW, PREPARE FOR HAVOC AND LOSS

Greetings Brothers and Sisters –

Since Friday, I have been hearing in my spirit that the Hurricane Melissa impact will be very serious. The damage it will cause will be widespread and devastating. I understand that the flooding will be some of the worst seen by those living in Jamaica. People, animals, homes, cars and other large objects will be swept away and those seeing these things happen will be absolutely powerless to stop it. I know that the majority of the deaths will be caused by the flooding, which will alter the landscape in many areas forever.

On occasion, the Holy Spirit will give me direction to pray for upcoming bad weather and I seldom share this with others, as I know, frankly, most people simply don’t care and won’t pray for something that doesn’t impact them personally. However, I have a sense of great urgency for this event, I am posting in hopes that the body will choose to stand in the gap for others as they would desire others would do so for them.

I have been given a range for the death toll and I believe this is so that those, who are sensitive to the Holy Spirit will yield and do as they are directed, even if it doesn’t seem to make sense. Or perhaps, the range reflects the deaths of those in more than one country as it is likely that Haiti will also experience a rough time as Melissa moves away from Jamaica.

Please pray not only for the survivors as they first face the terror of the hurricane and then the aftermath as they clean up from Melissa. Pray for those who will not survive. Pray that they repented beforehand and made things right with the creator, as some present today will not be here next weekend. The worst of the storm is 24-72 hours away now. There is anticipated rainfall from 2-3 feet in a period of hours, which may change the area topography quickly.

Please consider skipping a meal to pray for your neighbors to the South. Additionally, there is a possibility that Melissa will hit the East Coast of the U.S. Let us prepare our hearts and lives to deal with this storm and what follows. Realize that many people haven’t had their government paycheck or assistance check will not have the funds to leave areas where a potential issue may arise. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them to safety and intervene on their behalf supernaturally.

Also pray for wisdom for those tasked with recovery efforts. That their focus is directed to where the need is greatest and to care for those who are desperate for intervention.
